This was the first time going and boy was it impressive. We live in Little Italy and came out here to visit a friend. We had... bruschetta, arancini, mini penne arriabiatta, pumpkin ravioli, arugula salad, pizza, and a canoli. The bruschetta and aranciniwere delicious, perfectly put together. The pasta was perfectly al dente, maybe the sauce was a little runny but the spiceswere on point. Not too hot but with a good amount of spice. The pumpkin ravioli were very interesting in the best of ways. Thepumpkin inside was refreshing and filling at the same time. The noodles were very well done and came apart perfectly with afork. The salad was amazing! Perfect amount of dressing to salad and a whole lot of tomatoes. The pepperoni thin crust wasgreat and the canoli was a perfect top off! Great place, great service! Read more

These people that rate the taste excellent but however it wasn?t as thin as desired..don?t even bother paying attention to these... types..waste of time, Porrettas Pizza is by far the best thin crust and also deep dish in Chicago.. It was my first time ordering, and it was good and I liked. But if you want Thin crust, ask for extra thin. Otherwise it will be... a little thicker dough then I prefer. But taste was good and If I would have known, I would have asked for extra thin. But itwas a solid 8 of 10. The thickness was not there fault. I'm sure they would have given me had I asked. I have heard alot of mixed reviews about the pizza here, so I finally ordered a pie. I chose the "Sweet Heat" which is a... pepperoni with spicy honey drizzled on top. Definitely more sweet than spicy. The crust complimented the sweetness very well. Icould see myself dipping the crust into the spicy honey as a snack. Not my favorite pizza in the area, but I can see why theyhave a bunch of fans in the neighborhood. Saw a at least three delivery drivers carrying out alot of pizzas during my visit. Read more
