Tirolia, located on the 12th floor of the Ritz Carlton fulfills any appetite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was... friendly, efficient and delightful. We ordered the bolognese, squid ink scampi, and grilled octopus. All of which we're prettygood - although the pasta is fresh, I didn't care for the noodles [spirals] that accompanied the bolognese dish. Read more
The Italian steak restaurant is truly a tragedy: you cannot serve steak hot and fresh in a steak restaurant. Ridiculous! Also,... at 8pm, the waiters set the tables for the Ritz Carlton's breakfast. The noise is unbearable. The food is really bad. Then I'drather go to Wendy's and get a burger. There are no trained chefs cooking here, but employees in chef's uniform. They heat upconvenience food. Excellent food, staff and ambiance. We found Torali to be a fantastic dining option during our stay at the Ritz. We kind of... stumbled into it after an exhausting day of travel and our original dining plans fell through. I'm glad we did. The food wasgreat. My wife was carb loading, but I think she ate an entire loaf of bread. It was great. I tried the french onion soup as anappetizer and it didn't disappoint. My filet was cooked perfectly and my wife enjoyed her braised beef. Mostly we were just veryimpressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone was very pleasant from the moment we walked into therestaurant. Highly recommend... particularly if you're staying here already. Read more
I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago hotel so decided to try this restaurant for Mother's day brunch. I am a platinum member of... Marriott hotel so had 20% discount which covered my tip for the waiter which was very nice. I didn't take picture of inside ofrestaurant because there were so many people. It was beautifully designed inside just like the hotel. Food was good but Iwouldn't say great. Price was very reasonable. Me and my mother-in-law got tulips for Mother's day which was very nice andthoughtful. I tried lots of restaurant out of hotels but I think it is way better to eat inside of hotel because it is hard tofind nice restaurants with great food with reasonable price. If you are staying The Ritz-Carlton Chicago hotel, give it a try! Read more
A nice experience. My 1st time in the Rotz-Carlton Chicago. Nice, airy restaurant/bar. It can accommodate large parties in an... open setting. Very “Happy Hour”/“Brunch”esque! I enjoyed a Caesar Salmon with Salmon. The drinks were tasty as well. Arelaxing environment has we were not pressured to leave after 2 hours. Metered street parking and hotel parking available. Thrilled to spend my birthday lunch here! Beautiful decor and the entire crew was spectacular. When my child asked if they had... lemonade the server said "You can have ANYTHING you want" and that felt very special to him. In addition, they were wonderfulwith food allergies. Reservations were easy to get, place opened at 4pm. and we were set for 8pm and they were closing at 9pm. They asked for Vaccine... Cards and IDs which was good. Seated quickly and staff was nice , no rushing and helped with questions we had. I ordered theHalf Roasted Chicken with roasted potatoes. Wife didn't see Scallops on the menu , but asked anyway if they had them and thewaiter checked and they were able to do it for her. Awesome, my food I couldn't stop eating and my wife said hers were great.They had Seagram so I was happy getting the only drink I'll have. Wife is a Chardonnay fan and got the house recommendation , wewere getting close to 9pm so we ordered a dessert to split. Tiramisu was great and just plenty for us and when we finished itwas time to close. They didn't rush us or the other table and we all left together and our hotel was across the street. So allgreat in my book , they had some other dishes there that were classic Italian that we planned on next visit. Read more
Fantastic service! All the staff was super attentive but not overbearing at all, my water glass was never empty. Personally my... favorites of the night were the cocktails, the bread basket, and the dessert. The main dishes were a bit underwhelming for mebut the atmosphere of the restaurant was great so we had no complaints. Read more
