First time here but with relatives that always talk about how much they love The Reservoir. The food and atmosphere were... amazing! After brunch we walked around the neighborhood & stopped at the adorable dog boutique around the corner where one ofThe Reservoir owners (David) had supplied a margarita pesto pizza for the 1 year anniversary there. I visited the Reservoir over this past weekend. It?s in a nice location on Montrose. Very nice inside, clean good sized and... trendy. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was casual. There was a small band playing by the front door, the music wasvery nice but a bit too loud. I had a difficult time carrying on a conversation without yelling. It was afternoon and about75% full. We had a nice table in the middle of the action. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star review was ourserver. He is in my top 3 of all time, worst servers. I am very easy to please and rarely get upset with a server. Iunderstand their job is stressful and fast paced but the other servers were doing a fantastic job. The person who delivered ourfood was very nice, another server picked up our empty plates, she was very nice. The owner or manager even stopped by ourtable to see how we were doing. I won?t go into detail of why the server was bad but he was. I?m sure I will be visiting againin the months to come. I am looking forward to changing my review after that date. A friend lives near here and recommended it for an early dinner. Great choice! We chose a table near the window. Split three... starters... tenderloin sliders, tilapia fish tacos and fried calamari... and all were excellent. The four sliders were veryfilling and would have been more than enough as an entree. Service was great... Maria our waitperson took good care of us. Fairpricing considering the quality. Street parking was challenging, and I imagine it would be more so later in the evening. First time coming to this restaurant. The food is very good here. The environment is clean, staff is very friendly. The menu is... simple with a variety of selections and reasonable prices. They have hot tottie which is a must try if your looking for aspecialty cocktail. Not only was our waiter attentive, so was other staff working. Very pleasant experience. Read more
My husband and I ordered burgers and I would give more than 5 stars!! They actually ask you what temperature, patties are huge... and taste amazing Customer service is excellent and very attentive. Prices are very cost effective vs SE of the other places inarea. Highly recommend Read more
Food was good and they had lots of drink options! We tried the calamari as an appetizer and the chicken club sandwich as a main... - both were great! Our friend had the macaroni and cheese and it was great as well! It was pretty loud, but that?s to beexpected on a Friday evening. They were short-staffed, so it took a while to get our food and drinks but since we were catchingup with a friend, we didn?t mind. Read more
The jalapeño spread for the chicken and waffles was good. I think the maple syrup had a taste of bourbon in it? Nice atmosphere... with the tall upholstered button seating. I wish they played kpop on the tv instead of sports. Read more
