We went to a lot of places when we visited chicago, this one definitely has a dive bar kinda feel - floors are sticky, old beer... smell as soon as you walk in... we felt right at home, lol. While a lot of the bars in the area are really expensive anduppity, this one was super low key and not overly packed full of boujee young people. Read more

Great spot, we got there around 12:30 and waited for maybe half an hour to get in. We ended up chatting with the folks around us... to pass the time. Once we got in there the bar was packed and hoppin. The two different levels each had their own vibe and musicplaying. Downstairs was a little tighter and less dancing, up stairs was the dance floor and it was packed. Would for sure goback next time I?m in Chicago and looking to keep the party going. Read more

Lost my glasses. Probably hit the worm to hard to boogie wonderland in the basement? I was really on one. When I awoke the next... morning to 1,600 texts to my middle school ex-girlfriend I felt there was no way this could get worse. Until I reached to mybedside table and realized my glasses were gone. I returned two weeks later to the promised land carrying no myrrh, but i wasgreeted with an award greater than the birth of Christ. When I entered, upon a pedestal rested my glasses, in pristinecondition Thank you to the Hangee-Uppe, the fun bar. 10/10 would boogie again? with contacts Read more

I enjoyed my time, but the drinks made me feel nauseous most of the night. Would recommend sticking to beer here. But super fun... for dancing and what not. Read more

Went here for a company after party and it was a fun time. The bartenders were really nice and served free water to whoever... needed it. The place is split up into two floors the top being more Latino and Hip-hop music and the bottom being more Rock andPop music. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The only thing I did not like were the TV's that displayed the dance floor. Iwas in my own corner enjoying the music and my drink so I was kinda just awkwardly displayed lol. All in all it was a greatplace and would be nice to go again with friends. :)) Read more

A bouncer picked up my friend, dragged him up the stairs, and threw him outside completely unprovoked. We had never even seen... this guy before he grabbed him. The other bouncers just stood there and stared. Paid $20 for a random guy to have a powertrip?spend your money elsewhere Read more

Doesn't follow covid guidelines. Saw a friend post a video of being there last night and it was jam packed, including the dance... floor, not a mask in sight. Everyone on the dance floor was maskless and were clearly screaming into eachothers faces to beheard. Also, I used to live next door to this place and had multiple times when creeps leaving that bar would try to hit on meand then after ignoring them would follow me into my building and I'd have to rush to the elevator so they wouldn't follow me upto my apt. We had a wonderful time here, great music, great dance floors and a wonderful crowd for my buddies bachelor party. $10/bud... lights and a door fee seemed a little steep, but par for the course at larger Chicago bars Read more
