A very pleasant surprise indeed. The sandwiches are out of sight, though it was a bit of a wait.
Congrats, you have a lost a weekly customer of nearly 2 years. When you spend $35 on two Lox & Bagels (and for some reason are... asked if you?d like to tip 25%) you would think you wouldn?t have to risk an allergic reaction because they are incapable ofmaking a bagel without cream cheese. After having to walk back to the store to ask for a new one, the front desk employeeexamined my order like she was doubting what I said. Then after my sandwich is made, the front desk employee proceeds to waitnumerous minutes preparing to go orders, instead of simply handing me my bagel. Best part, I was not offered even the slightestapology, but rather it seemed that I had inconvenienced the employees, even after providing a generous tip (for making 2 bagelsnevertheless). I can, and will, be going to Gotham Bagels for all my future orders. Read more
