We've been here a couple times. Intimate ambiance; delicious food. Staff was very professional and courteous. Excellent... recommendations for food and wine pairings. We had the Mussels for an appetizer; they were phenomenal (make sure to get an extrabaguette to soak up the delicious sauce). The Salmon and the Sea bass were cooked perfectly. This restaurant is amazing. Super friendly staff, and an awesome menu with great value for the price. Try the cocktail menu,... it's one of the best in Chicago. Only complaint is that it's a bit smelly due to it being in the basement. We'll worth the trip. Read more
One of my favorite places in the city. Even sitting at the bar is an amazing experience because the bartender is one of the... nicest and coolest people I’ve ever met (he’s always been there when I’ve gone). Really enjoyed this place! Went here a few weeks back on a Thursday night with a friend and really enjoyed the variety of... whiskey they had. Our server was super knowledgeable and helped introduce me to a few new types of whiskey that are my newfavorites. First time trying Japanese Whiskey and it was awesome! Incredible, upscale food. I hadn't been in years since this place opened. Originally they seemed to serve mostly bar food-... sandwiches, burgers, etc. It was more of an Irish pub sort of vibe. However, coming back I was surprised! Completely revampedmenu. I ordered the scallops which were amazing. We shared a truffle toast. Overall, I'd highly recommend. They were very strictwith the COVID policy, so do know you'll be asked to check out when your time limit is done. Also make a reservation. Read more
I am absolutely a fan of this place. The cocktails could be a tad better but not bad. Really enjoyed the Whisky flight option... though. The food is amazing! A burst of flavors in every bite that pair so well together. The space is small but I love thedecor, definitely speak easy vibes. Service was perfection.
