I never write reviews. This was THE worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. The food was TERRIBLE. I got the blackened... shrimp tacos - the shrimp tasted like a port-a-potty smells (seriously). The corn tortillas were not cooked correctly, makingthem soggy and gross. My partner's tacos broke while he was eating, which made the contents fall and stain his shorts. The tacoswere served with about 7 tortilla chips, and the tiniest bit of salsa, it was about 2 tablespoons. The music was SO LOUD. Wayyyytoo loud, it hurt to be sitting there! But we had to stay because in-laws chose the spot lol. Had a migraine by the end of it.And to top it off, it took an hour and a half to get our food. NOT WORTH THE MONEY at all. Oh, also, gross bathrooms that wereout of toilet paper most of the night. our waitress was nice but was gone most of the time and didn't ask for refill on drinks.Barely any liquor in the Moscow Mules. I like beaches and tacos. Do you like beautiful burgers, happy people, sandy beaches, boat drinks, reliable burgers, and tasty... fish or shrimp tacos? Then this is the place for you. Took over an hour to get our food. Food bland and overpriced. All of our drinks came out except for one persons and we had to... ask 3 times for them to bring out a soda. Music was obnoxiously loud. Waitress disappeared for long periods of time (maybeunderstaffed which I get, that?s fine but ?) millions of ?busboys? around who were rude, couldn?t tell us where our food was andrefused to grab anything for us or even just a waiter. Honestly seems poorly managed. Also if you go, there are no bathroomsexcept the bathrooms for the beach which I ended up having to use the mens bathroom that was covered in poop. If you are walking by maybe? Do NOT make it a destination. We did and got there, paid for parking and then got to the stand and... they said ?sorry, we are not taking anyone for the next hour to hour and a half.? Plenty of empty tables but probably notenough staff. But no notice, no sign outside, no posting, so we could avoid spending parking money. Just sorry guys, have a niceday. I've been coming here since it opened. A great place on Chicago's largest beach, Montrose, the Midwest riviera. It is... unpretentious as is the staff and a great place to enjoy food, fun, sun and people watching. Hope it is fully open this summer,have missed coming to see Beggars Banquet, a Stones cover band, these pass two summers. They rock and so does the Dock. Read more

3.6 stars. Great location but so-so amenities. For a full service bar, no Scotch,Bourbon or Rye? Jack Daniels or... nothing... Slippery floors, be careful. Couldn't read the menu at dusk with lighting provided. Food was underwhelming. Servicewas average. Friendly, yet harried servers. Bathroom was pretty pathetic. Perfect place by the beach. Staff was super awesome. If I wanted to go on a date by the beach this will be the place and off... course they do have live band's every night and beach parties on the weekends. Read more
