Came for a concert with a broken ankle and could not believe how amazing every single staff member was that I encountered! From... contacting them before the show, to the security, to the girl at the front door, to the management and then the bartenders,EVERY single person had a smile on their face and was extremely courteous and helpful! Awesome, intimate show and good viewsfrom anywhere. I would come back in a heartbeat! Read more

Go check out Mer’s Music Showcase sometime. It’s a one of a kind, round-robin performance featuring emerging and established... songwriters in an intimate, paired back setting. Really dope. Thanks for having us, Cubby Bear! Read more

Aways s great place to see a band. Been to man a 101kqx/Q101 pop up events. Parking is horrible. But if you're willing to walk... to the spot hero parking in the lot on Grace . It's about 15 bucks. Read more

Went here for a local pop punk show and the speakers in the place were absolutely loud af. I always bring two sets of earbuds to... all the concerts I go to, one being hi-fidelity and the other being safety rated. I had to pop in the safety rated ones for thefirst time in years. I understand that it may be loud to try and bring in more people in a high foot traffic area, but the placesounded better from down the road. Service was good. Read more

Coming to my first Cubs game, we wanted some bar food before the game and decided to try our luck at The Cubby Bear. We were... fortunate to get a table at this very busy place, and had to be diligent to get our food and drinks ordered because there wereso many people there. We ordered the Buffalo wings and the Cubby Bear Nachos and they came out incredibly fast! Both were verygood, and were cheap compared to the cost of most places we’ve been eating at in Chicago. Definitely loved the sportsatmosphere and the fact that it is right across the street from Wrigley Field. Read more

I was able to catch a Cubs away game at Cubby Bear, while in Chicago for a short time. It was a day game, so not too crowded. I... got a spot at the bar with a clear view of the stadium. Very cool experience for a baseball fan. Chicago dog was solid. Theyhave their own lager, which is a pretty cool little party trick. A+ for service and hospitality all around. Security was superfriendly on my way in, and a big shout out my bartender, Erica! Top-notch barkeep! Read more

Visited the Cubby Bear Chicago on a rainy ?????? Sunday morning for a Rock & Roll Playhouse (Beatles) event. This was a family... friendly concert and the venue was nice (directly across from Wrigley Field). It's pretty large and allowed families to bescattered pretty well and when more families came in, they'd bring out more tables/chairs. The bar and kitchen were both openand the food was ok - we had the chicken nachos and an appetizer platter. Overall good experience and definitely a change ofscenery after coming here after a Cubs game. Read more
