I had the occasion to visit the Lake Street location Chgo, IL on 25 Oct 22, during the lunch time rush. The young lady that... takes the orders need customer service etiquette. She has no skills to deal with the public. Not to mention I personally raveabout this place. The one time I bring someone to try this place out and they didn't have chips with the sandwich. The ordertaker never mentioned it upon placing my orders!!!! Didn't realize no potato chips until returning to work and sat down to eat. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT & Employee. Quantity of food worth the price. There were only 3 people during the lunch rush. They seemed overwhelmed running out of Swiss... Cheese for the Reuben. When I asked the Cashier for Extra Beef Marble; she had a full blown conversation in Spanish with thecook before she could respond. An issue I never had with Manny's or other Deli Restaurants in Chicago. She also couldn't evenlet me purchase a bag because I came far to taste them after seeing them on Social Media. The Beef Hot Dogs had more flavor thanthe bland corn beef. Corn Beef Factory is nice for the locals in the area. But not worth the travel from other parts of thecity. Read more

Simply put the corn beef is great here! All of the sandwich options were lovely and the homemade chips were to die for. We got... it to go in by the time we got back to our house the food was still warm and ready to eat. The old-school traditional corn beefyou dream of is exactly what they serve up here! I usually love the Reubens here. I went today about 10:30. Instead of the amazing sandwich I usually receive. The sandwich was... almost devoid of ant thousand island dressing or sauerkraut....barely a teaspoon full. Disappointed...and not happy. Read more

The chips were average.. and they were the best part of the lunch. Pastrami was too lean and lacked flavor. Pickle lacked... crunch. Bread was weak and the spicy mustard insignificant. Definitely felt like something you could get at Jewel. Read more

The Tom & Jerry is half cornbeef half pastrami, which was excellent. It tastes as good as some of the older more established... delis. But at a bang for your buck!! Most of these delis charge extra for swiss cheese and chips. This is already included inthe price!! And imo, the sandwich is a good size for 1/3 less costs (and some places even more).
