Wow wow wow. This has been one of the best dinner experiences we have had in Chicago. We participated in the 8 course Autumn... Harvest tasting menu along with the wine paring. Everything was truly perfect and delicious. The service was outstanding and thewine pairing was magnificent. Executive Chef Larry is truly talented. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Read more

Great food and great atmosphere! Party of 4 and we opted for a la carte menu instead of tasting and was very satisfied! Everyone... was friendly and very attentive. Only downside I can think of were the drinks. Wine and cocktail were all very expensive, evenby chicago standards. And no beer on tap. Read more

Incredible experience. The waitress we had was super friendly, really descriptive/knowledgeable about the drink selection and... menu, and awesome to chat with. The food and overall hospitality of the chefs was amazing - Larry, Jeff, and team pumped outdish after perfectly plated dish. Had about 10 dishes and loved everything they put out. Overall wonderful evening, and I’llbe back again soon for the next season’s menu! Read more

I loved the Bristol. The menu was curated correctly and the service was great. I think the price point is rather high and I'd... have liked more menu options but it's a solid place. Read more

An overall solid set dinner, with an especially good value (8 courses for only $125). My favorites of the savory dishes were the... scallops and the duck breast - both were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The highlight of the meal, however, wasdessert, which was an eclectic mix of flavors. Read more

Fantastic experience! We were a group of 5 on a girls’ night out and we all got the tasting menu. The service was great and we... even got to meet the chef who came by to say hi! My favorite dish was definitely the fazzoletto pasta - so light and with a asubdued fragrance too, it was heavenly - not at all creamy/heavy at all. Our server (Murphy) was fantastic, he worked with thekitchen to help make sure we each had the duck cooked to the level of our satisfaction (as we all had different preferences whenit came to how well done we liked our duck), and even helped customize our dessert experience which allowed us to try a samplingof 3-4 different desserts. Loved the desserts so much… the panna cotta was heavenly. Needlessly to say, all of us were nearinga happy food coma at the end. Read more

It's a SPECIAL DAY AT @bristolchicago ???? Bucktown, Chicago IL @midwestmunching on instagram ???? We've wanted to try this... spot for a while, especially because it's so close to us. The laid-back setting and energetic vibe + brick x leather gave ussuch a cozy and fun time! They have an awesome seasonal 8 course tasting menu that featured fall flavors. I would love to trynext time we are back, given they update their menu seasonally We weren't too hungry so we just went for the tasting menu. PlusI bet Ben didn't want me to pay too much ???? ????Biggest highlight was the Maldafine pasta, filled with Cantonese XO sauce, shrimp, and turnip. Perfect to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Curls of the pasta hugged every bit of the sauce. It was perfectlychewy , slurpable with sweet, umami, and savory tastes of heaven. ????We also got the contemplantary Milk Bread which I didn'tthink much of but WOW look at my face. The caviar compound butter + crispy g light bread was to die for. Other itemsinclude: ????Short ribs with truffle and sunchoke (not enough flavor) . ????With potatoes that were to die for. They literallywere so crispy on the outside then melted into your mouth ????Pork shoulder & belly with blue corn polenta (a bit dry) Dessertsand cocktails were ???? BOMB though; ????Basque cake - they've made for 20 years, made with. Apple and served withsherbet ????Rice Panna Cotta - super smooth and light, the way that the Japanese would make it. Served with plum, raisin and asuper crispy layer of cinnamon. Just WOW ???? nesting dolls - vodka, elderflower, rhinehall la nomande,. Versus ????Warmthhearth-. Bourbon & persimmon chamomile vermouth highly highly recommend the pasta, milk bub,, basque cake, and rice Panna Cotta Read more

Beautifully designed autumn tasting menu. Very good explanations with wine pairings. Each course had many ingredients that... harmonized together very well. Can't wait to come back and try the winter menu. Read more
