Excellent food and service. Pasta cooked perfectly. The delicata squash was amazing . Desserts were out of this world delicious.... I love that they work with local farmers and that the menu changes based on what’s in season . The pistachio ice cream was thebest we’ve ever tasted in the United States. Absolutely loved Testaccio. We went to celebrate a birthday and Arturo and the staff created such an incredible experience. A... must order is the Capaletti pasta. Great drinks, atmosphere, and food. Service staff was amazing, very attentive; of these 3 dishes the Vodka pasta stood out. Never had oxtail pasta tasty but a bit... dry for my liking. The Risotto was flavorful will definitely go again. Read more

Favorite restaurant in Chicago! My boyfriend and I have come here twice and loved the food and service each time. We took all of... the waiter’s food recommendations and I’d highly recommend that for anyone visiting. Something new we tried this time aroundwas getting half portions of a couple different pasta dishes rather than a full portion of one so that we could try more oftheir offerings, which I really liked. The outdoor covered patio is gorgeous and we ended up getting that entire area toourselves because I think other people are worried about being too cold, but it’s very well heated even in 15°F. We had a nice dinner in this hip urban space. Cool cocktails complimented an extensive wine list. We started with the burrata... and veal meatballs, the meatballs were the real winner here. My dining partner described the burrata as "mild", whereas Ithought it was bland and lacked salt. The meatballs, however, were excellent, juicy, spicy and a wonderfully tender texture. Wethen enjoyed the orichette as well as the porchetta and delicata squash. The orichette was well seasoned with a note of citruslifting the dish, as was the squash. The porchetta was fork tender and incredibly rich; it paired well with the arugula and redpepper puree. We're excited to return and try more dishes! Read more
