Placed order at 2:05 its 2:25 now, these women acted as if they didn't get my order, people who ordered after me continuously... got their orders while mine was never acknowledged.. I just politely asked for a refund and I?m shocked by their behaviorbecause there was no reason for it. I am a black female , and I won?t be returning.. if you plan on treating black people likethey?re invisible for no reason, don?t have a business in HYDE PARK just a few blocks from the DuSable museum, I?m honestly notimpressed, please get over yourselves Read more
I used to love working here, but they keep changing their menu and removing the things I love. They still have a nice wide... selection of toppings and flavors, but it's quite expensive and the cups are rather small. The music is usually too loud to doany work, and the music itself changes wildly from day to day. Te'amo is quite tasty and has an adorable aesthetic--their cheesetopping is particularly marvelous--but I think greater consistency and a more focused menu would be much appreciated. Read more
If you are thirsty for an amazing boba tea experience, you HAVE to go to Te?amo. It is the best tea place in Chicago. They have... so many options, I?ve been there several times, so I can pretty much say without hesitation that all of their tea aredelicious. Also, their staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I like the fresh strong tea flavor and they do provide plenty of milk options! The chocolate cake tastes good with rich... chocolate and not that sweet. They got very busy on weekend but the staff were professional and helpful, worth waiting! Willcome back. Read more

Drink was good enough but not special imo. Not as sweet as other Thai Teas I have tried. I'd recommend people get less ice, feel... like it's a lot. It's more expensive than my usual spot (maybe due to the area and the can design). Nothing really stood outthough besides the place and can being cute for photos. Didn't see the mochi donuts that I see people post in the photos section(perhaps because I visited around 4/5pm), the staff was okay but didn't seem approachable, you have to wait a while and therewas not a lot of people, the boba was kinda hard, and the straw did not feel big enough to fit the boba because it kept gettingstuck in the straw unlike other places I've tried (probably because the thicker straw won't fit thought the can lid as well).ALSO like someone mentioned, asides from the order kiosks being way too close for people to order at the same time, they do"force" a tip by having the default at 12%. I agree it is too public for most people to even try to not tip because you mustselect the other tab and type in 0. Don't think I'd personally come back but it's a nice place and unique boba cup design tovisit at least once. Read more

I enjoy the boba here, it is very well made. I just wish they had a larger variety of options for when you are not in the mood... for caffeine. All of their drinks are heavily caffeinated, and they don?t have many options (other than lemonade) if you wouldlike to have boba later in the day. Some brown sugar milk or herbal tea drinks would greatly improve the versatility of theirbusiness. Read more
