Reviews for Tavern On The Row in Chicago, IL
We wanted to come here to watch a couple football games and have a drink. What we should have done is stayed home and watched... football games and made our own drinks. We were here for 15 minutes and we never got a drink or even acknowledged. My advice toanybody considering coming to this place is, instead of wasting your time here, go to your favorite liquor store, pick up a sixpack, and watch the game at your house instead of feeling neglected at this establishment. We love this place. We walk in with our Pittsburgh Steelers gear on and the staff comes right up to us telling us to sit... wherever we want and they will turn the game on for us. Adam was our waiter he was super attentive and welcoming. We had thechicken nachos, buffalo wings, and mozzarella sticks. All were delicious. This place is huge. I love how you're not on top ofthe other guests here, and they have Coke products! Read more
Food was trash, but the service was worse. Took over 30 min to get our food. Everything came out at different times and our... server didn’t check on us once. Then had the audacity to put 20% auto gratuity on our check when we were a table of 4… ourwaitress’s name was Shaleana and her service was absolutely horrible. Read more
They over charged for not having ID physically. Then told me ALL the tables were reserved then said it’s $20 for a table. Food... took a good 45 minutes to come. Instead of them saying they not serving steak quesadillas they just brought me shrimp. Due tothat I had to wait another 30 minutes for a new entree. Had to wait another 10 minutes for fries that I ordered with my meal.Didn’t get any water at seating. And drinks came after my meal was finished. I will never go there again. Read more
Waited 10 minutes for a table. We were the only ones in the place. Waited 45 minutes for food. Again, there was no one else... there. Once we got our food we had to ask for napkins. We were given the napkins that go under a drink on a bar or table. Wenever got utensils. We didn’t see our server until at the end when we asked for the check. Three of the stalls I went into didnot have toilet paper. The food was good, but I won’t be back. Read more
A really nice bar located on the second floor of a building in an area of Chicago known as Jeweler's Row. Food was tasty and... drink selection was good. Service was also friendly. Read more

We stopped in Saturday around 130pm for a beverage after holiday shopping, we sat at the bar and several employees said they’d... be with us in a few minutes, not an issue for us but after waiting 20 mins with no service and watching others who sat after usget served, we got up and left. This bar is very unstaffed and the employees seem to be running around not knowing what they aredoing. I would not recommend stopping at this bar for a beverage. Read more
