Reviews for Taste of Peru in Chicago, IL
I used Taste of Peru to cater our company's luncheon held earlier today and everyone absolutely loved it including a Peruvian... himself. Cesar helped me create the right menu that included Tamales (chicken & vegetarian), Arroz con Pollo, Lomo Saltado,Anticuchos Pollo (I think that's how you say it), Yuca Freitas and this AMAZING green sauce (it has the perfect kick to it,spicy goodness) Cesar and his team made sure the food made it on time and was at the right temperature and that too with itraining, the team was were very responsive and helpful in creating our event today. After my fav Peruvian restaurant closedduring the pandemic, I was not sure iany place could come close to their level of deliciousness and I am so glad that these guysdid, and they left a great taste in so many first timers' mouths. Can't wait for another excuse to order from them or head outto the northside to try something else. Read more

I?ve been to a few of the Peruvian restaurants around the city and have been wanting to check this place out. My brother liked... the food but I wasn?t very impressed. There was something missing?flavor!? Also, I?m not sure if Peruvian rice is supposed to belike that, but the rice was a bit overcooked, very mushy. It?s probably an off day, I?d definitely give them another try becausea customer kept raving about her dish to me. Read more
I?ve been hoping to dine here for some time. I finally made the trek to Rogers Park. Open 11:30-10:00, open sign shining bright... at 8:30. Walk in "WE'RE CLOSED". I get it at 9:30, but 90 minutes before closing and you?re turning away paying customers? Iguess COVID didn?t hit them hard enough and they don?t need the business. Read more
