Reviews for Takito Kitchen in Chicago, IL
Cute Mexican restaurant! The tacos are good, more of a modern healthy take than an authentic taco but still delicious. The... French toast was really good, definitely recommend! My only complaint is they charge for salsa but don't tell you they willwhich felt a little strange. Read more
There are a lot of taco stores in Chicago, and I consider this as one of the best! Takito Kitchen offers fresh tacos, which are... made to order. Their tacos are served crispy and well-seasoned. They also offer cocktails and chips. This is a small store so itis best to have your reservations first before going here. Everyone here was nice and friendly, and the ambiance is light andamusing. The service is great and they serve the food quickly. They also have outdoor cozy tables. I chose to have my mealoutdoor and I loved the ambiance and how it makes me feel relaxed. The foods were superb and satisfying, and the servingproportions were big enough and worth the price. Definitely a must-try! Read more

Really great service. The eggs are super soft, probably whipped with some cream before cooked. Their coffee braised beef is... almost sweet initially amd them the saltiness kicks in about 3 seconds later. Their omlette portion sizes seemed a little small, but the quality was fantastic. Really cozy environment with a large skylight towards the rear of the restaurant. So much booze.Menus are electronic via QR code Read more

We absolutely loved Takito's brunch! 15 dollar bottomless mimosas and amazing margaritas! We ordered the chilaquiles and... breakfast tacos with added coffee braised beef. We will definitely be coming back for brunch and to see the great staff whohelped us. Shout out to Aurelio, Ana and Sheila! You made brunch so much fun! Read more
First and last time customer, Chicago native (actual resident) and as much a taco eater as any, though this was no taco... experience l've ever had. A simple order of pork and crispy fish tacos (two tacos per) plus chips and salsa yielded a bill of$27 and some change, which would normally be worth it if the tacos were larger than my index finger. By far smaller than thetraditional street tacos with dressed up approach that left me wanting for 4 more, some place else. Bottom line not worth thecost any which way anyone could try and justify.
