I wish I could rate this place higher. Most taco places are hit or miss, sometimes the steak is good and well cooked sometimes... its fatty and chewy. Every time I've gone to Taco Max their steak is from a perfect cut and it's cooked perfectly. They alsohave an option for regular cooked chicken or tinga(marinated) chicken. I?ve eaten from here a couple times and I really liked it. The recent times I?ve eaten from here hasn?t been good. The food... tastes and looks like it?s made in a rush. They are super expensive and you?re not even getting quality. Spent $16 on chips andguac and a large drink. The guac was dark and watery and no salt whatsoever smh. Definitely not ordering again. Was afraid to try the steak tacos because virtually all the red meats (with whole foods being the sole exception) contain head... splitting sodium nitrate. The chicken tacos were excellent. The (3) salsas were the bomb! If I get a response saying thattheir ???? doesn't contain any nitrates at all, I am willing to try it! Read more

Pretty good tacos! Service was good. The chips came out right away and were fresh and crisp. They provide 3 small cups of... dipping sauce. I liked the orange the most, it was a little spicy but still flavorful. The green had no spice and was kindawatery, the darkest one was the spicier but also had a sweet flavor. Chips were warm and crispy but not significant flavor thatpopped out to me. They were crunchy and paired well with the sauces. The 2 taco dinner was good. Plenty of steak in the tacowith some raw white onion and cilantro to top it off. Steak taco was delicious paired with the orange chip cause. The dinnercomes with rice and beans. Came here on a Friday night. The place was packed, so that was a good sign. I ordered my food to go. I had the 3 taco dinner- 2... arrachera & 1 lomo. Both meats, rice and beans are amazing!!! The food overall was good. However I ordered via phone for pick up only to arrive at home to find out my order in it?s entirety... was not received. I returned to the restaurant with receipt in hand of what items were missing from my order leading to me beingtold that I was wrong and nothing was missing. The restaurant employee got an attitude and said that he personally packaged ourfood and he did not leave anything out. l?ve never personally experienced an situation where incompetence and arrogance weredemonstrated so blissfully therefore I will not be returning to TacoMax.
