This is an awesome restaurant / bar across the street from Wrigley Field. It's a little upscale, but you can definitely dress... casually inside. The staff was friendly and accommodating of my group, and gave excellent recommendations. I'm generally wary ofraw oysters out of fear of getting sick, but Swift & Sons does it right! They have oysters from both coasts and they are freshand delicious! I would absolutely recommend this place for a nice but comfortable dinner. Read more

Came here on a Monday for happy hour and it did not disappoint. Three of us had 5 dozen oysters. Food was great and our server... Sean was as well. Definitely would comeback. Read more

Oh man, we LOVED this spot. What a cool location and super nice decor. The food was top tier. We each had a sandwich and split a... dozen oysters. Our waiter was fabulous and we can’t wait to go back! Read more

While the food was good, and the view (upstairs) was awesome, the service is slow and weak. There was just one waiter, which I... understand it can be too overwhelming for him. But there was a lack of care also. For instance, the empty glasses that we usedfor cocktails and water, never got taken. At some point, there was no space in our table anymore for the food we wereordering. When they delivered the dessert, we didn’t have silverware nor plates. And it was that. How were we supposed to eatthe cookie and ice cream? Having to keep asking for the obvious is exhausting. I work in the food industry and sometimes Ijust don’t get some things. The place is good, but it doesn’t matter how good the kitchen is if the front of the housedon’t get their job done properly. Read more

This was my first time at this location, and they completely hit a home run! This will probably be an odd item to start out with... on the review, but I have to say, run don't walk to this place and try the mashed potatoes. So far, they are the best I've everhad, sorry Grandma Mary ????. Tried the chateaubriand steak for the first time and while it was good and flavorful I did leavewishing I had tried the ribeye instead, so definitely next time. The bartenders were amazing and he even made me an off menusmoked old fashioned that was simply to die for. Read more

I wish I could give it 4.5 because it is better than a 4. Delicious mini version of their mother ship. Not as many cuts of meat... and frankly not quite as well prepared, but very close. The food is delicious, well priced, so happy we have options like thisin Wrigleyville now. Servers have been great every time. Think we've been there a handful of times now. The shucking is notgreat, usually shells left in half of the oysters. The confetti cake dessert is incredible. They are nice at accommodating ourstroller. Read more

Summary: excellent space with an amazing view and the service was top notch. I’ll be back for drinks for sure. Unfortunately... the food was just ok. Went for brunch and was expecting a solid experience considering this is managed by Boka group, shared aname with one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago and is a newer addition to this part of town. It felt like they weremissing some key items from a breakfast menu. Toast wasn’t on the menu (...odd?), but they could make it for me, which Iappreciated. No crab or salmon benedict item on the menu despite the emphasis on their of raw bar. I was disappointed to findthey had no full steaks available for breakfast (have steak salad, a sandwich and have actual steaks for dinner, but not even asteak and eggs similar to what Maple and Ash does for those that want to dabble in the true swift and sons experience forbrunch). These were all things I could see going into the brunch because I saw the menu online, so that’s on me. When theactual food and drinks showed up, most of it was fine. Little to nothing excellent and a few things were just bad. Sausage wasgreasy with no flavor. My bacon was burnt to a blackened crisp. Probably could have exchanged it but the meal only came with 1strip of bacon so felt like it would be a lot of complaining over very little. Again, I have to state that the service wasexcellent and the restaurant is gorgeous with an amazing view of Wrigley field. I’ll stick to the bar next time until theywork out their kinks and revisit their brunch menu. Or go visit the real deal in west loop :) Read more
