In town for work and decided to take a walk to find some breakfast. They have a great menu and we were not disappointed! Try... the custom hash browns. They were soooo good. First time attending, greeted by the window and was asked for a covid card... I ordered to go as I did not have one at the time.... Coffee and a breakfast combo, cheesy eggs were very fluffy with a side old crispy bacon, yummy! Potatoes were a golden brown,needed a bit of salt I thought. I'd love for this place to be my secret spot, but I want everyone to know how good it is. Every time we go back to Chicago, we... try to hit up Sweet Maple for breakfast. Something about the Midwest with their kindness and friendliness that just enhancesyour food and this place gives you helpings of that. While I love their coffee here, the pancakes are where it'd at. So largeand soft like eating a pillow in my mouth, haha. On this special day, like the photo of their chalkboard special I added shows,they were serving their CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES ????. Enjoyed coming here. Wait staff was extremely friendly and the food was really good. The cinnamon roll pancakes were phenomenal,... really cool twist on pancakes. We are in Chicago for a festival and came here for breakfast befor going. We went on a Friday morning around 9am no wait street... parking for 2.50 a hr and free on Sundays The food was good but nothing crazy. Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a short wait. The person at front was very friendly and would let people know who... was next each time she brought someone inside or let folks know how much longer. The decor is what you expect from a breakfastplace. It was quaint and made me feel like i was eating at grandma's. Service was nice and always kept my cup of coffeefull. The food was excellent! It?s been so long since we sat down and enjoyed breakfast at Sweet Maple. It was one of our favourites before Covid and we... ordered take-out during Covid so was excited to dine in again. The indoor seating area has been reduced from before with asection being used to manage the take-out orders. Looks like they built out a patio that will be nice during warmer weather.Back to the food! As usually everything tasted so delicious. We also got a side order of the pancake since it?s one of the bestaround. Beyond the delicious food, the owner and staff make you feel welcome. How many restaurants have the owner still workingand seating you at your table and apologising for the long wait?
