A neighborhood favorite which serves an excellent potato salad and chicken salad. However: It is terribly expensive for what you... get. The combo with a slice of cheese omes in at over fifteen bucks, and they really skimp on the pastrami and cornedbeef. Almost the same price as Manny's with about one third the size. Fantastic place, I wish they had something like this downtown. Everything is very fresh and delicious.
Tuna is my absolute favorite, staff needs to be mindful of using fresh gloves after every customer.
We got two pastrami and corned beef (combos) and a spinach salad. I am a huge fan of a good pastrami and corned beef sandwich.... The meat was shaved thin. It was good, but not the best. The spinach had mushrooms, bacon bits, and cherry tomatoes. I got thegarlic dressing. That was good. 2 drinks all came to about $55. Read more
Tried for the first time. Clean establishment, good customer service. Got a corn beef sandwich, can come cold or hot, with... whatever topping you like. Also a variety of other dips, cheeses, deli meats, and variety of other side items. Did try the dipplater very tasty and a great option to try all there dips. Will be back soon. Read more
Such big portions and so freaking good. I got cheese curds which are basically mozzarella sticks, they were great so was the... marinara. Then had the cobb salad, prepared exactly as I asked. I couldnt finish it all but it was great. Wife got friedmushrooms which were also good, little heavy on the breading and turkey club which was not short on meat at all, huge. 1st time here. I bought a 1/2 corned beef sandwich with Swiss cheese. It was delicious ! I think I found the perfect place to... order my corned beef sandwiches. The little bit of potato salad was very pleasant tasting. Read more
Unsure if it?s new owners since I haven?t been here in years but it?s absolutely no way you should wait longer than 15 minutes... for a corn beef sandwich. Customers that walked in after me were leaving before me. Food definitely did not taste the same.Unsure if it was the meat quality or the fact that onions were put on a corn beef sandwich. I didn?t ask for onions. Who putonions on corn beef. All of that time just wasted and the place wasn?t crowded. I think the awning was blue the last time i washere now it?s yellow.
