This is the sushi restaurant that Lincoln Square needed and was waiting for. The service is friendly and fast. The owner comes... out and talks to you as well as asks what you need. The ambiance is nice, bright and energetic. The portions are healthy and thetaste is on point. I?ve ordered about 2/3rds of the menu and everything I?ve eaten I?ve liked. I realize that not everyone is asopen as I am, but order your favorite and I?m very positive that you?ll like it. This is my go to sushi place for dine in andtakeout, and I want it to be yours too. Our neighborhood needs Sushi Tokoro and I hope they are here for the li g haul! Read more

Good place for AYCE sushi - one of the only places for that near Lincoln Square. Seating is hard to get and wait times are... pretty bad. But the sushi is good and the prices are fair. My only gripe is that when you call, they always say there's a tableavailable without any estimated wait time. Kind of shady to do. Otherwise, recommend to try it out! Read more

When it comes to AYCE sushi, i recommend that dine-in should be your only option. Having said that, I actually would give this... resto 3.6 rating (since I cant, i just truncate my rating). I was happily surprised that they had appetizers on the AYCE menuthat most places dont provide such as the fried oyster (salty, hot, plump and fresh) and seaweed salad (my favorite). The appsare small but its an AYCE so sample a few and re-order more of your faves. The nigiri was fresh and draped over the rice whichwas really good and flavorful. However, some of the maki rolls had too much rice compared to their fish/veg ingredients. Andon one of the rolls, the rice was too dry. But overall, the rolls was flavorful and really worth the price. Just order a fewat a time, the wait for your food was not long at all (went during early dinner 530p on a Sunday). Will be back when the sushicraving strikes again. Read more

Absolutely delicious sushi! I really loved the eel roll, but all three I tried were fantastic. In the picture is the eel roll,... sweet potato roll, and the spicy salmon roll. Read more

This place has been hit or miss quite a few times. But when it misses, it misses pretty badly and I'm left with barely edible... food and stomach pains. The most recent photo shows completely dark brown avocados and tuna which convinced me on theinconsistency. You get what you pay for but unfortunately I won't be going back again. Read more

We only go to Chicago for family, food, and to fly. Well for the most part... for my daughter?s last two birthdays we went to... Sushi Tokoro. Both times, service was attentive and polite. The food was fresh and servings were plentiful. The price was fair. The environment was casual, very clean and earthy feeling. Bathroom was immaculate. We parked a block west in the street, near aBurger King. This year we are attempting to make sushi at home, but if it fails, we might just drive from Kenosha to Chicago fora pick up! Read more
