The food here is good, don't get me wrong. But it is "good" in the way that any basic diner food is good. I've never been... dissatisfied with anything I've gotten here, but it is overpriced in my opinion for what it is. Almost 15$ for a plate of frozenhash browns, canned corn beef hash, two fried eggs, and two tiny pieces of toast? ???? I don't know about you, but for me a hugepart of the satisfaction of diner food is the fact that it's supposed to be CHEAP. I know inflation made everything moreexpensive, but this seems like a huge stretch. It's a shame that there aren't really many cheap diners left in this city. Theirfood really isn't any better than IHOP yet they charge way more. I guess that's the neighborhood for you???? Read more

Been going here for years. Just a classic local breakfast place and one of the few left in the city that isn?t a chain. Food is... always delicious and the vibe is very cozy. We get both dine in and take out and both are great. Read more

My wife and I have been in the neighborhood for a few years now, and we only regret we didn't try this place sooner! Family run,... incredible food, and outstanding service - it has amazing little dinner atmosphere but the food is 10/10. The steak skillet wasfantastic but Celine + the service were even better. The waitress suggested the portobello skillet and it was so delicious!! I will definitely come back for that. The service was... great, it's a diner, so nothing fancy, but food was good. My son had simple eggs, sausage and hash browns and he ate everything, quite a shocker!! Only thing was the coffee was a bit too acidic for me. Not sure what kind they serve. Luckily Whisk was cashonly, so we got to try this delicious place and skillet. Will be back. Read more

Decided to try this spot out on a whim. This is a nice cozy place that serves a solid breakfast. The server was very friendly... and very attentive. There is a homemade sauce that was brought out with the food, which is pretty good. Tried the country friedsteak, which was pretty tasty. Most importantly it wasn't overly expensive. The meal filled me up for the rest of the day, soyou do get more bang for your buck. Read more
