I tried Sultan?s Market for the first time last week when we ordered take-out for my friend?s birthday picnic. The food was... generally quite good, with a couple exceptions. The pita was the best item we ordered - light, fresh, and fluffy. The rice wasgreat too. I enjoyed the falafel and the hummus as well. However, the vegan cookies were dry and flavorless. We ordered bothtypes of vegan cookies, and they were both disappointing. My friend and I also wanted to order dolmas, but when we looked at theones at the salad bar, they looked crushed and unappetizing. We decided not to order them. Overall, the food was satisfying, andit would?ve been exceptional if it weren?t for the dolmas and vegan cookies. Read more
Had high hopes given the other reviews but was let down. Entrees are a bit pricey, chicken was dry, sauces sucked (one looked... like semen and was flavorless, the other far too spicy without much flavor), and the spinach pie was served room temp withhardly any filling. Always 5 stars always the best because this is the original spot. I have seen it grow from when ur first opened to blend and I... am super stoked with the consistency. I love that they employ young people who see from the neighborhood too! Today the Xavierwas so amazing. He was the cutie with the beard, an older gentleman. He was super attentive and made sure my order was right. Sograteful for the great atmosphere and food. Keep doing a great job guys. Read more
I do love a good Mediterranean meal, and this place never disappoints. I?ve been several times over the years and I?ve never... left unhappy. I don?t love the decoration of the place - looks a bit cheap, and could easily be spruced up a bit, but in theend, it?s the food that counts, and it?s always been a solid venue in my experience. Wow this place has gone completely down hill. The location at north used to have quality ingredients but I'm pretty sure... they've changed all of that. Chicken was awfully dry, hummus terrible, rice barely tolerable. I'm in shock how bad this placeis now. Do not come here for Mediterranean food please. Read more
Amazing food! I got the meat combo dinner. Can?t make up your mind, then get this. Lamb Shawarma, chicken shawarma, and kefta... kabob on top of your choice of curry rice or lentil & rice. Served with sides of hummus, tabuli and hand made pita. Yummmy!!! Ialso got their Baklava that is delicious!! Highly recommended! Read more
Food was pretty good, felt very authentic. Portion sizes are quite large and you get two pitas with a plate. Chicken was... definitely my favorite, the lamb had a good amount of flavor as well. I do wish there was a little more variety to the veggieswhen ordering a plate. Read more
Baked Kefta Kebab Sandwich (spicy), a small hummus, and an order of za?atar bread on North Ave today. The Kefta sandwich was... packed with veggies, hummus, and meat. I devoured it instantly. The za?atar bread paired perfectly with the hummus. The dustingof sumac on top is ????. Highly recommend as a quick and delicious meal. There?s a lot of variety on the menu. Read more
