Last night my wife stopped at Subway to pick up dinner for us tonight, 03.03.2022, approximately 9:15p... BAD CHOICE ON HER... PART!! Store location: 1101 West Bryn Mawr Ave Chicago Illinois 60660 While we've never been to this location, we will NEVERpatronize this location again!! Besides the sticker shock for two 6" subs and three cookies, $14.81, I don't understand whysome locations are still in business, or even meet corporate guidelines!! Mine was the six inch steak & cheese. For somereason, it had NO cheese, even though my wife ordered provolone cheese. It's called steak & cheese for a reason. Toppings weregreen peppers, onions and chipotle sauce. The sauce was NOT chipotle, but sriracha!! It should be noted that the sauce bottleswere not labeled and apparently the clerk didn't know the difference!! Due to stomach issues, I don't do spicy foods, Iattempted to eat. The bread definitely was NOT fresh!! It was hard and dense. My second bite, a long hair came out with mybite!! The rest of the sandwich went in the trash!! DISGUSTING!! My wife ordered the six inch tuna. Her bread was also hard,stale, and dense. The bread definitely wasn't made today!! She used a spoon to eat the inside of the sandwich, and threw awaythe bread. I've had a few bad encounters here. First time, I was overcharged, and a worker was in denial even when I showed them my receipt... and items. Second time, a worker misheard my order and it took me half way through the process to realize she did, so Iapologized and corrected it. She continued to make my correct and an incorrect order, but I told her I did not want theincorrect order. Worker became frustrated and started yelling at me for not wanting it and how she misheard me the first time.Overall, aggressive service. Read more

The food and preparation is fine, but the individuals who work there are racist. There was a black gentleman who was asking to... use the restroom three times and she did not give him the code. He waited patiently. When he dropped his phone, he made a loudnoise of frustration and she told him to leave. He kept trying to explain himself, but she repeated to leave. I will not attenda subway where a POC chooses to be anti-black. Read more
I have been to this subway a couple times because my mother sends me gift cards and I am lazy. I am already upset because they... changed the flatbread to artisan. I proceeded to order a steak and cheese and was blown away. They were very scarce with theamount of meat that they placed on the sandwich, I was going to say something but I had to get back to work. The lady then asked"what kind of cheese sir?" I answered the shredded cheddar cheese, this woman placed 7 strands of shredded cheese on my footlongsub. I politely asked if she could add extra cheese and she replied with "that will cost more". Now I'm fed up because she istrying to charge me extra for cheese which comes on a STEAK AND CHEESE. So, if you see this review just know that like anysubway you will be cheated on the amounts of meats and cheeses that are placed on your sub but you will be rewarded with extrabread. Have a nice day! I have been a customer of this subway for 10 years. During the pandemic even with inflation, I spend $400-$500 per month at this... location. In the last six months, there has been new staff. It takes 20 minutes for one sandwich, with two people in the storewith two employees. The staff is always in the back attending to their kids when the owner isn't there. I get that sometimes youmay have to bring your kids to work. But is it sanitary? Especially since I have gotten food poisoning from this location. Idislike writing reviews as I know they can destroy a business. But the staff has been rude to other customers as well as myselffor months now. Tonight one of the employees got mad I politely asked for four complete slices of fresh mozz. I very muchdislike paying for crumbs of fresh mozz when the cheese is extra and I spend so much at subway. For $18 an order for a singleperson order with premium cheese, I can make several sandwiches at home for less with fresh mozz. Sadly the owner is a great guyand as a fellow business owner, I hope he re-trains his staff otherwise he'll lose customers. This 10 year patron is now out! Read more
