This subway location is the best location in our neighborhood. The owners, both husband and wife, are super good at giving the... best service. This store is like a home to me since it?s right next to our house and whenever we feel hungry, we know where togo for fresh sandwiches. We never had any issue in last 25 years. I was a kid and grew up eating the sandwiches from this store.Subhash is very nice and so is Uma. This store deserves 10 star rating. Thank you guys for taking care of us. Read more
I went in at the very end of the day and the store was freezing which was great because it was like 88 outside. It was the first... day the city opened back up from the pandemic. The store was neatly organized. The service was prompt and patient. Thecondiments appeared to be fresh, crisp. The cookies were fresh and soft inside the container, but the cookies that wereindividually wrapped weren't that soft. She was accommodating, exchanging my cookies for the ones in the glass container, theywere much softer than the prewrapped ones and I only have the fronts of my teeth so it's crucial that I eat soft things. Eventhough she was busy trying to shut down for the evening, she still was able to be patient with the customers and still do herchores. The only thing that was kinda a thing was that the tables weren't wiped down behind the last patrons that came in. Myoverall environment was a modest, comfortable experience. I give this place 4 stars considering the time of night and all thatshe had going and her shutting down by herself, also 3 other people came in behind me and had pretty sizeable orders. I don'tthink that she should've been there by herself at night like that. It's a huge responsibility and very dangerous. By nine atnight it's creepy people lingering around because of the other establishments in the lil mall complex where the store islocated. Maybe she could have some help at night like that, male help. Or she could be scheduled into the day shifts. Just awoman worried about another woman being safe, nothing more. I know how crime has shot up since the pandemic. I don't wanna seeanyone hurt or taken for granted. So, considering all that was going on in that evening, my only complaint was the tables, butit was understandable considering the facts of the evening.
