The paper have been putting subway coupons in the papers for the last couples of weeks. I have been to subways east and west of... 35th St. And south until you reach 87th. No one ac cept the coupons but still ask if you would like to order anything. No, Idid not order anything. Why put the coupons in the papers for participating subways when No one participate? The food was great and service was nice, my main concern was the way the manager onsite (March 27th 2:48pm) was treating one of... the employee (she appeared to be a African immigrant) and was obliviously afraid he was treating her in a very mean spirted /cruel way in front of employee's and customers. I usually only write negative reviews when I get some bad experience. But the staff here has compelled me to write a positive... review because they are so friendly and awesome :) I usually don't like being in this neighborhood as people in this localityare so rude. But staff here is an exception. I first visited here with my parents and they are vegetarian. These peoplecarefully prepared their order and marked it very clearly to avoid any kind of confusion. They always greet me so nicely andtheir greetings always feel genuine and never mechanical. Whenever I am in Chicago and in this neighborhood, I don't opt forany other place than this subway. The service was fine. The customer service was normal. They do not have courtesy water cups which was inconvenient but not the... end of the world. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. It is locked and customers must be buzzed in. I expected a clean bathroombehind that locked door. I only went in because I was dining in. I could barely stay in there long enough to wash my hands. Adirty bathroom really puts a negative spin on the experience. Read more
