Their lettuce was a pale yellow-white, and the rest of the veggies looked really sad. I almost walked out, except I felt sorry... for the guy working there, even though he was kind of rude. I came here for a subway sandwich. I tryed this new place out instead of my regular place. I wish I didnt do that, they didnt... have my bread and when they gave me my food the bread was not toasted,my lettuce was orange with a little bit of green? Thebread also had black spots on that made it hard to eat. Read more
My wife stopped in your location this evening, 04.30.2020, about 710p. The front door was propped open. She stood at the counter... for a good 5 minutes. No one ever came out from the back to wait on her. If the clerk was in the bathroom, or out backsmoking, they should lock the front door with a sign stating "be right back in 5". It?s hard to believe that they forgot two out of my three sandwiches. The sandwich I did receive was wrong, the subway BMT... should come with salami, pepperoni and ham, there was no salami. There were no jalapeños banana peppers or cucumbers asrequested. There were two slices of rotten tomato and some pretty slimy spinach. Good job! Read more
This place has new signage saying they?re recently under new management, and let me say, so far it?s horribly worse. I live... nearby so I?ve frequented this store for a year now and can say from first-hand experience they should get their old managementback. Stat. Staffing: this store used to always have at least 2 people working at any given time, sometimes 3 during busytimes. Since the new management has taken over, every time I?ve been in there, there?s only been one employee available makingsandwiches. Today (Saturday, Feb 29) I walked into the store at 12:45. There were 3 customers ahead of me and right after I gotin line, a group of 13 teenagers/college students came in. While rushes cannot always be anticipated, busy lunch and dinnertimes should be properly staffed. With only 3 girls in front of me, it took 20 minutes before I was even able to start myorder. Promotions: On Friday, Feb 28, I went to this store, and they had a sandwich board out front advertising ?Buy 1 6-inch,get one free of equal or lesser value?. I placed my order for a foot long, and when I got to the register, the girl rang it upas a foot long. I inquired about the promotion, since my sandwich technically qualified. She then re-rang my order under thepromotion and sent me on my way. Today, when I went to this store (a different employee was working), and she also rang me upfor a foot long. I again inquired about the promotion, pointing to the coupons for it laying in easy reach on the counter. Shehanded me a coupon card, but explained that ?I?m giving you the coupons today, so you can use them next time you come in.? Iexplained that the day before, I was given the promotion without the need for any coupon (indeed, the offer was plastered on asandwich board for all the world to see). She just kept arguing with me (with 13 customers in line behind me) that she wouldn?tgive me the promo today, I?d have to wait til the next time I came in. I only gave this 4 stars because I have had only one bad encounter; there are two employees that I really enjoy one is a male he... remembers my orders and a short hair girl who is very kind. If you see them please tip them like I always do, if you can. Mybad experience was with the very long ponytail girl who was mopping with glove for food.. the dropped the cutting knife for thebread- picked it up took those same glove an pull two fingers over the blade- as if to clean it and proceeded to cut the bread.I left and anything I see her working I avoid the place. The staff is extremely unprofessional and have attitudes, that's when they come out from the back to greet u at all!! I once... stood at the counter for almost 10 min and no one ever came out from the back! Also I've lived in the neighborhood for 10 yrsand been buying bread from this location to make my own sandwiches. Now there's this girl whos probably worked there for amonth with an attitude that has red braids and won't sell me the bread without buying a whole sandwich, so if u would like topurchase just bread walk around the corner to jimmy John's on Broadway.
