Our large party had a blast here during happy hour on our 1st afternoon in Chicago. The server had the right energy to make it... possible for 13 people to enjoy themselves. The decor was on point, and the food and drinks were very good! I don't rememberhearing any music even though it may have been playing. My only complaint is that they don't split checks up, but that was acontinuous theme throughout our visit. I would recommend and also return if ever in Chi again. Read more
Marissa was our server. You definitely have to pay a lot here but you get what you pay for. Very fancy. I appreciated the... customized service. STK Steakhouse was AMAZING!!!!! The food was delicious and the service exceeded our expectations. Bria was an AMAZING server!... The managers were attentive and had a sense of humor. We had an excellent time here for our anniversary. Everything we ate was delicious, the atmosphere made for a romantic dinner,... and the waitstaff was helpful and friendly. The price isn't cheap but you can come here for a drink and an appetizer withoutspending an absurd amount. Read more
STK Chicago is a great restaurant for any occasion. Beautiful ambiance and decor, great menu options, and good service. The food... was very plentiful and delicious. They also have a good happy hour during the week. Would definitely return! Read more
The one star is for Chris the server that gave us such good service, as far as food goes I don't think whoever came up with it... knows what flavor my $100 steak wasn't even seasoned it had no flavor, not even the simple side of sparagus and had salt in thelightest bit, and the drinks were so disappointing all of them packed with sugar for $20 a cocktail I was expecting a lot morethere are places that charge much less and do everything 10x better. This place is just popular for the prestige in it's nameand reputation that is slowly loosing. $500 for a 2 person dinner is atrocious go Maple & Ash instead. Read more
Made a reservation for three the morning of. When we arrived it was approx 20 min before we were seated. We were seated and... drink orders were taken. We decided to skip on the appetizer and go straight to the main course. We all ordered a steak. The NYstrip, cowgirl ribeye and the Spinallis. The steaks were fantastic but we waiting quite awhile for them to come out. We alsoran out of drinks about 15 min into the hour wait. We were finally refilled by a different waiter. Definitely zero complaintson the dinner. Steaks were cooked to our request, the creamy matched potatoes were amazing as was the Mac and cheese. First time to STK House. First impressions that it’s the hip steak restaurant to be at and super busy!!! It’s a steak... restaurant mixed with a club atmosphere. If you love playing the waiting game, along with loud music, this place is foryou. Even with a reservation we still had to wait 20mins to be seated. (Also it was a Saturday night). I don’t know if thatmakes a difference in wait times on other nights during the week. I hope you don’t want to have a conversation, you can barelyhear the other person over the music. Even our waitress had to raise her voice for us to hear what she was saying. With it beingbusy it did take our waitress a little bit to get back to us to take our order and to bring us some bread. The bread they servedwas really good. But, we had it gone like that. We waited about 40 minutes for our food to come out. Every time you would cutinto your steak, the table would wobble; making our water move like the T-Rex in Jurassic park was coming. (Don’t worry it wasjust the wobbly table). The food was good. Though I don’t know if I would recommend getting the mashed potatoes or the lobsterMac ‘n’ cheese. Both were really good, but the portion size was definitely smaller then what I was thinking for the priceyou pay for each. There wasn’t anything special about them. I had the dry-aged bone-in strip; it was alright. I’vedefinitely had better dry-aged steaks elsewhere. My husband had the regular NY strip steak. When we got our food our watersstopped being filled. When we were done with our meal, once again we had to wait for our waitress to bring us the check.Probably waited 15 minutes with another 20 minutes on top for a copy of the receipt. I don’t know if I would give this placeanother chance. Plus I’m not someone that likes to eat steak with loud music playing. Read more
