All of the employees are so nice! I work at the front desk in the same building and I've never had an issue with my order. As... far as the restrooms go, it's not their fault there's none onsite; that's strictly the rules of the building management! Read more
Starbucks is a chain and for the most part all of them are pretty standard. I don't usually review chains unless there's... something about them that make them stand out. The drinks here are like any other Starbucks, however the service here makes itstand out. I went in one morning while working next door at the Bank of America building being constructed and witnessed like 8people come in back to back, all of them the employees would greet by name as they walked in. Coffee and muffin are good, location is great. But there are no restrooms in this building. Very inconvenient.
Two stars due to being consistently slow and for ZERO indoor seating. Even when I place on order online, it is too slow. If I... order a warmed danish and a drink, the danish will be completely cold by the time the drink is provided. I work across thestreet but prefer to hit one of the others that are further away. The only redeeming quality is nice outdoor seating. There isZERO seating inside. Thus, once winter hits you have no options. This lack of seating is not due to size, they purposelyeliminated all seating when remodeling was done a year ago. I am surprised that this one has the same overall rating as the one2 blocks away (Wells and Randolph) where the staff tries to remember your name and your orders and drinks are generallycompleted within just 2 to 3 minutes. This store was renovated and reopened in Fall 2017. The new store design follows the new Starbucks concepts, which are bright... and open spaces. However, this store now has NO indoor seating. There are tables outside, if the weather permits. If you arelooking to meet someone for coffee, head to the Corner Bakery across the street or the other Starbucks that is at 150 NRiverside, just across the river in the new William Blair Building. I used to work at 150 N Wacker and this was my go to location to get caffeine. Within the first week I was there, the employees... learned my name. They really make an effort to remember everyone and identify the frequent visitors. It's always busy there butthey have an incredible system down to a science getting your order ready. Even while you wait, the baristas ask how you aredoing and engage in conversations. My favorite starbucks and experience hands down. Hope to be back in the area. Read more
Service is always spectacular. Everyone that works there is always very friendly and service is quick and efficient.
