It is Avery good neighborhood bar with a good and dead cheap drinks. Very dog-friendly with an outdoor patio. Very friendly... people hanging around also. I really met a few interesting people with whom I might connect later on. Definitely a great placeto check out!! It's cash only also, but you can have a tab! Went here for the taste talks Chicago closing night party with Altos tequila. The decor is Backwoods rustic while being... beautiful and sad at the same time. The chandelier is gorgeous. It is made out of deer antlers, and I hope that these arefaux or found on the ground and not taken from deers that were killed just for this purpose. I am not a fan of the Taxidermytheme, in fact it makes me think of this place as more of a Hunters only club or Refuge. I love the vintage booths in the frontof the bar. They are very unique that they have a checkerboard built into the table top. It was very enjoyable to play Checkerswith my companion. There's only four of them, so get there early if you want to sit in a booth. The atmosphere is verylaid-back and reminds me of an old-school neighborhood Tavern with the long wooden bar and the Art Deco lighting. There is abeautiful backyard outdoor garden with a fireplace, picnic tables, and a small bar which would be a great spot to enjoy in goodweather. A big minus is that they are cash only, and do not serve food. I was told you can order food to be delivered herethough and there are plenty of choices in the area to do so. Read more
Great patio. Cash only. Bartender girl looks cool, but doesn't like to talk to you even asnwering what type of wheat beers they... have "Look at the board". Yea thanks. It's interesting how one person can affect the perception of the whole business. Businessowner: hire people who would like and appreciate their job and put customer service as a priority. Read more
This place has a really cool vibe with an amazing back patio. It is certainly the only bar of it's kind and in a way it feels... like you've simply transported to a different part of the world. The door was super friendly and opened the door for everyguest coming in and out. I have spent many occasions here and it's always a pleasure to return. Read more
