Cute little place with some very tasty food. We ate outdoors (busy Sunday noon). A bit of a wait but well worth it. The grilled... coffee cake is an A+ that we split in addition to the brisket hash. The hash is a hearty dish and we all enjoyed it (all of usordered it because it sounded so good). Putting it in the rotation for sure. Read more
this place is pretty good. there’s limited bar seating if you’re solo, which i think is nice. it took a while to get served,... but the server was friendly. the coffee is served in a little cup like a sake situation, which is cute but the cup is hot tohold without a handle and mine came with debris all over it. i got the chorizos and eggs, which was decent. there was chileverde layered in the bottom which was a nice surprise. My omelet was delicious and my friends both liked their meals, can’t wait to stop by soon!
SGC was great prior to the pandemic. We've had a few negative experiences in 2022 which is why this review felt necessary. The... staff has become apathetic and unhelpful in addition to long service/food preparation times. I'd also add that their policiesare inconsistently followed. For example, there's a sign to the right of the door that asks patrons to keep strollers outside. We were sitting outside so we parked the stroller to outside of the patio. They then told us to move it inside which iscontradictory to the sign. With so many other great options nearby (Foxtrot, Crosby's, S&G, and Breakfast House), I would goelsewhere Read more

I wanted to love this place. I dropped in while my car was getting washed down the block for a coffee and a quick breakfast... sandwich. It was an expensive venture at $22 for just those two things, but the ingredients sounded really fresh so I was okaywith it. The coffee was mediocre at best (a simple vanilla latte - nothing to write home about) and the sandwich was actuallyquite good with interesting flavors and homemade sausage. The side of fruit that accompanied it was half rotten but I didn’tknow that until I got home. What I will say is that the specialty grocery section is AWESOME! Stocking stuffers galore. The realkicker of the whole experience was the service. While I did arrive very close to opening, I was more than willing to browsearound while they got their bearings. When I was finally waited on, I felt like a burden and an annoyance. A harsh greeting fora $22 to go breakfast. Anyways, will I be back to eat? Unlikely. I will stop by for a few Christmas gifts and hope I get alittle bit less of a flippant greeting. Read more
