I was visiting from TX, first time in the city... Si-Pie was near the hotel I was staying at and decided to visit in hopes of... trying out 'Chicago style' pizza. Was greeted upon entry by the owner of the establishment and was informed that there was noChicago style pizza offered there but decided to stay and eat what was available. Not only was the pizza (and wings) amazing,the owner, who's name I never got, was one of the nicest, most down to earth person I met on my whole trip. We had greatconversation and even better food. The worst pizzas in all of Chicago, I worked in this place for 6 months and my profit was a depression that took me 1 year and a... half to heal since the treatment of the owner of this place was really evil, the place is disgusting, after he fired me for Thepandemic did not pay me my last check, Simon is the worst person I have ever met in Chicago! my recommendation regarding foodis very poor quality and inexpensive. This place is a scam. I ordered the Kabob pizza, expecting a medium pizza topped with gyro meat as expected in the advertised... photo. But what I received is a regular pizza with easy-bake crust, topped with chopped beef. Absolutely NOT worth $35 for afreaking medium and the quality of ingredients. This pizza is abysmally bad. I came in for a slice and it was literally the worst pizza I've ever had. It tastes like the pizza... you might find in the dumpster behind a gas station, tossed out at the end of the night after too many hours under the heatlamp. The crust is hard, flat and tasteless, with the cheese and sauce being equally bland. If I could say anything good aboutthis pizza, it's that it didn't give me food poisoning. Read more
