I had a date and we planned on Sushi Taku down Milwaukee (super close to Sakura). They had an insane wait time with no... reservations being taken. My date and I decided to find sushi nearby and discovered Sakura close by. When I say I’ve neverhad better sushi rolls in my life.. I’m not lying. Everything from the intimate vibe. BYOB option. And the quality of food,made this place stand out. The owners are the nicest souls who have ever walk this earth, and after hearing their story I knewthis was my forever sushi spot! I don’t like leaving a bad review but I also don’t want people to spend money at a place that is low quality. This was my... first time ordering and I did carry out. I ordered multiple rolls, a few pieces of nigiri and an order of mochi. All of themwere inedible to me. The rice was incredibly cold. I honestly wondered if the sushi had been frozen previously. Like the textureyou would expect from grocery store sushi that had been sitting for a few days. My order was $70 and I just threw it all away.The staff were very kind when I went in which I appreciate but the low quality was honestly shocking to me. I should’veordered from Coast on Damen. This is such a good place. It is BYOB. And the rolls are amazing. I had the Sexy Chic roll and the Nightelf roll both amazing. ... My SO had the Unagi Don and it was really good also. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.???????? Read more
