The atmosphere and service were wonderful. We had the show gun dinner, and I wasn't really that impressed. The lobster was a bit... overcooked for my liking. My family suggested our choice, perhaps we'll try the sushi should we have another opportunity. Again, wonderful humans and such a cute cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the hospitality Read more

Service needs work. They sat us and nobody came by for a solid 15+ minutes - then finally got our order in and each course... they’d drop a dish off with no silverware. Clearly there was mix up with the server and the manager went out of his way toapologize at the end. A little disappointing overall, but the food + chef were good. Read more

This was a great experience. Service, food and atmosphere was great. We valet parked to make things easier. At night it can be... very busy. My only disappointment was I asked for beef fried rice and they used ground beef. It was good but not what I wasexpecting. Read more

Extremely overpriced, mediocre food, and a borderline ripoff. The food was bland and average at best. The server girl was nice... but the chef was lifeless and had absolutely no sense of personality or soul. Usually these Japanese steakhouse restaurant chefscrack jokes and do entertaining tricks. However there was no entertainment at all. We awkwardly sat in front of a silent manslowly cutting mushrooms for nearly 45 minutes. Do not go to this place. Your stomach and wallet will thank you! I took my mother there for her birthday for the first time I was in town and since we mainly go to Benihana I thought to switch... it up plus it’s close to all the shopping but from the moment we stepped in the girls at the hostess stand were very welcomingespecially ( carina I think that’s her name) but it was our chef Juan that took it over the top he’s a true gem we’lldefinitely return in hopes of getting him again but to be fair everyone was nice that we encountered food was nice and portions Read more

6 people to one small circular table during covid. Ok for starters we got seated at 7, chef didn’t come out until 8 to start... cooking. He individually cooked everyone’s rice one by one and that alone took 35/40 mins. He didn’t even bother giving me rice because I was the only one to get white rice. So my plate is still completely empty. Then he made the vegetables. He barelycooked them and didn’t season them at all. But nothings worse than when he cooked the meat. He was taking everyone’s oilfrom the plates being tilted and throwing it back on the grill. During covid! This man used chopsticks to individually placeeach piece of meat down one by one. When he was finally done cooking it was past 10 and they were closing and I kid you not. Hetook 3 shrimp & a half a chicken breast and put it on my plate. I say there starving for THREE SHRIMP and a half a chickenbreast. I will never be back. I ordered my cousin the same combination dish as me to go. 3 orders of this cost me $401. Almost$100 in service charge, tax and gratuity for 3 shrimp and a half chicken breast. At least the yo go orders had more than 3shrimp Read more

What a fun place to celebrate a birthday! I was there to celebrate my girlfriend daughter's birthday. The food was delicious.... Our chef, Benny, was funny and put on a great show. Be sure to bring $$$ as this is not a place to eat on an every day budget.Highly recommend Ron of Japan for a special night out!!! Read more
