The preparation is always superb. It would be great to dine in because we love being there: the service is great, the ambiance... right for a restaurant and the food the best, but we never think of it in time. The place is busy! Favorite dishes? Thepansanilla salad, all the appetizers, the seafood pasta, the bolognese, the parmigiana, the desserts and the osobucco, any fishentree. Get the idea? As soon as we started eating I was already excited to come back someday. The Chicken Milanese was legendary! A nice big cut and... the perfect crunch from the breading. Legit, the best I ever had. A real deal homemade tiramisu to finish it off! Read more

Can't recommend Riccardo's enough. Wonderful food and drinks but it was the service that really created an unforgettable... experience. Diligent, knowledgable and really friendly. Made to feel at home which only enhanced the enjoyment of the top classdishes. Would return in a heartbeat when return to Chicago. Read more
My friends and I went here on a whim (it was Easter Sunday and lots of places we expected to be open were closed) and we are so... glad we did! The service was excellent - our Sicilian waiter made a great wine recommendation based the type of profile I wasafter, and he was attentive and responded to us throughout the night with great care. The food was delicious, fresh and was veryauthentic Italian - the capretto and the gnocchi were standouts. The atmosphere was great. Highly recommended! Read more
Ricardo Trattoria was excellent. Went with friends and had such a beautiful dinner. Started with a bottle of Barolo, our... starters were the breasola carpaccio, fava beans, veal meatballs, all were super delicious. My main was the Veal Chop,delicious.The carbonara, ossobucco, and seafood risotto, were all a hit as well.. Loved the Brunello and Chianti, went reallywell with all the beautiful food we enjoyed.
