Queen Mary is an excellent bar, particularly during their oyster happy hour on Sunday and Monday. Their drinks and food are... reasonably priced and the atmosphere is very fun. I especially enjoyed the grog and the clam chowder, which were superlative.Overall, this is one of Chicago's most fun bars right now. Read more

I was so excited to come here to celebrate my 24th with dollar oysters. And though the oysters did disappoint, the service did... not :) Our waiter made sure we had an incredibly intimate dining experience. He did not check up on us once. I love flirtingand so did our server. He was definitely playing hard to get. It was incredibly hard to get his attention. Understandably so, itwas super busy. So busy, that when we did catch him, he had one foot out the door the entire exchange. His urgency to leave madeour time together all the more thrilling and gave me this really unique feeling?the feeling that I did not belong there. Thiswas confirmed when we were approached after paying by someone else who worked there, who reminded us that we were young and thatat an ?adult establishment? like this, you tip the quality of the service you received. Never in my life have I felt soincredibly seen. Not only did he recognize that I am young, but that I did in fact tip the quality of the service Ireceived. Overall, dining here was a once in a lifetime experience. I will certainly never come here again in my lifetime. Thetreatment I received for being young was definitely special, and I urge other young folks to come here and experience it aswell. Read more

Monday Oyster happy hour was amazing. Their $1 shucks were plump and delicious and were cleaned expertly. Add a $7 martini and... you have a wonderful snack or starter to a nice meal. The place is small but they know how to make the most of it. Great serviceas well. Read more

Came here for oyster happy hour on Sunday. Arrived about 3:20 and there were about 8 people there already on an overcast,... pleasant day. The oysters were fresh and well shucked, and for $1, really can't be beat. The martini special has gone up inprice from $6 to $7. Only covered gin and vodka martinis. Waitress was friendly and the mignonette was great especially for theprice. Read more

$1 oysters on Sundays at 3pm were a fantastic deal! Oysters were pretty big and came with lemons, mignonette and horseradish.... Recommend arriving close to 3pm because the seats fill up quickly and their patio isn?t open yet. All seats were filled by3:30pm! You can only order 12 oysters at a time. Took 20min to get the oysters after we ordered because the shucking takes awhile and there was a huge turnout of people. Love the whitefish dip too! Clam chowder had lots of potatoes and not a ton ofclam, but decent for $7. Wish it would?ve been hot though; came out a bit cold but I think it?s because it was super busy duringhappy hour. We didn?t get water until 15min after sitting down; same time we could put an order in, but staff were apologeticand clearly swamped. Overall, oyster happy hour was worth it! Will be back to battle the crowds! Read more

The selection of whisky, mostly independent bottlers, is fantastic and reasonably priced. A decent selection of AD Rattray and... Cadenhead from numerous distilleries. You can't see them on the shelf so be sure to ask for the menu. Read more
