I am a potbelly fan, as we all are, and decided to try the app to tee up lunch and pick it up in that very brief window between... calls or meetings. My experience both times is the same - a 10-15 minute wait past the allotted pick up time and order somewhatincorrect. It would seem potbelly has a flawed online ordering process. I don?t blame the exasperated single employee handlingthe online order desk. But in that employee?s clear frustration, the slamming of sandwiches and chips seemed an unnecessarystep in front of people who paid for and will soon eat the food you were just slamming to the counter. This was in down Chicago. The staff was very nice. My Mac and cheese was good our sandwiches were also very good. The... bathroom was clean. It was black Friday and crowded down town. They got us through the line and eating very quickly. Read more
This is the best Potbelly I've been to. The food is the same quality as at other locations, but the customer service is better... than not only other Potbellys, but many other restaurants or stores I've been to. They seem to like people and enjoy whatthey're doing, and are helpful as well. It makes for a pleasant dining and ordering experience. Even when they're busy, the linemoves quickly and they maintain their professionalism and positive attitude. Read more
A regular stop when I'm downtown. The staff is friendly and quickly remember your order. I always know I'll be greeted with a... smile and honest inquiry about my day. They work hard and get through even the craziest crowds swiftly. I've had only one onlineorder mixed up and that was solved before I ever left the cash register. Read more
