In my opinion, all the potbelly locations are awesome because of their tasty sandwiches which are priced very reasonably, and... the people who work there are fast and friendly. It's fast, casual food. There is significant choice with regards to sandwiches, which are toasted open face then assembled with... the cool ingredients afterwards. The salads are decent. The vegetarian Mediterranean sandwhich is a nice veg heavy alternativefor those not in the mood for a salad. Adding the spinach, pickles, onions and hot peppers takes it up a level. The shakes aregood. There is an option to make them malts. The vanilla malt is outstanding. The cookies are a bit heavy/oily tasting to me.Lots of different chips to choose from. First time here i was very disappointed. I placed an order for curbside pick up to be ready at 3:25 i called to let them know i... was outside at 3:20 i was told they were still working on my order and they would bring out my order. It was now 3:40 no orderyet. I decided to go inside. I ordered curbside pickup in the first place because i had my daughter with me and did not want totake her around other people. My order was sitting on the counter and she said she was about to bring it out to me. As i walkedaway she told the other worker that i was rude because i wanted curbside and went inside. The food here is great for what it is. It?s better then subway for sure, but it is not as good as expensive restaurants for... obvious reasons. It is a fast food place (maybe not as fast as some other places but certainly fast enough) so its standardsaren?t as high as a high end restaurant. I am certain that potbelly exceeds the expectations of any fast food place by a mile.The food is amazing, and the aesthetics are great. This location has brick walls all around which I think is a great decisionbecause the potbelly that it is named after is really old like the bricks they use for the interior. Stopped by this time to get a tuna sandwich and the lady and guy that were working on Wednesday, were friendly. She prepared my... sandwich correctly and with a smile. I asked her if they had a tip jar and she said they were not suppose to get tips. I foundthat odd and I didn't want her to get in trouble so I thanked her. I've actually never had a bad meal here, and kudos to the chain in that I've never read had a bad one at any of their... storefronts.This particular storefront is right off of the intersection of North, Damen and Milwaukee (which means it'sconvenient for a quick healthy meal if you're hitting one of the bars or shopping there), and the Powerhouse salad I gotrecently was as good as anything else I've ordered there.
