The cook had obviously burnt some chicken. I completed my order online, still had to wait 40 minutes. Take my order home and... the chicken had the disgusting burnt taste to it. Will not return to the one on East 95th Street! Read more
I stopped at this Popeyes to get a quick meal before going to work. I sat in line for 15 minutes before getting to the mic.... Then at the mic to order for about 15 minutes. I never heard anyone say anything the whole time I was sitting there. So I droveup to the window just to be told that she allegedly told me “one moment” and she could not take my order at the window. Ijust drove off because even if she had said that and I didn’t hear her after 15 minutes you would think that someone would sayyou know we’re still going to take your order please hang on hold on wait whatever. But she said nothing and she had a nastyattitude when I drove to the window when she told me that she couldn’t take the order at the window so I won’t be back. Drive thru was closed, so you have to go inside to make a purchase. Pop machine was dirty, sitting side ways, dirt all over and... around it, but no out of order signs was around. Floor was filthy and sticky, napkins and receipts was all over. Counter top wasdirty. Tables was dirty, chairs was all over the place. After seeing all of this...I could imagine what the back kitchen arealooks like. So it wasn't nothing else to do but turn around and go elsewhere...it was so f@*ked up we couldn't even takepictures. I just left and im so highly disappointed and disgusted by this popeyes.... The girl in drive thru was nice but after i was told... tenders would be a wait and pulling over, sitting for over 20mins and realizing it was complete nonsense to be waiting thatlong..... Even after getting my for i checked and instead of 6 tenders i got 4 nuggets and that not even on the menu. So to fixit the did no more than put 2 fresh real size tenders on top of what was already there and changed the fries leaving me with acold red bean and rice.... Oh yea i had to ask for the chicken sandwich they forgot and got defense about me asking forit........ I can't make another review so I'm gonna make a edit today is 8/2/22 2:08pm they have no sauce they're serving foodon kids lunch room trays we waiting over a 40mims to order the lady behind the counter is wonderful but the service this storeprovides is just sad and terrible and needs change............ Usually I like this location, but not today. My order was ignored despite being ready. I asked for my money back, but they... wouldn't give it to me. I waited for 30 minutes. They were too concerned with drive thru and much bigger orders. Like l say,they usually do a great job, but not today. Nothing is worse than the 47th Street location, though. Location on 95th and King Drive needs to close and reopen, under New Complete Management! Poor Customer Service, Poor Quality,... Tasting Food. Chicken is extremely small pieces and overcooked. The Red Beans had no flavor and the Chicken had nothing! Ordering Spicy was a waste asking the option! Stop with your expensive prices while your products get worse. Read more
Wanted to try out the new chicken nuggets. To my surprise they offer a 48 piece nugget for $22 so I said why not have lunch for... the next few days? They look to be offering a new cheesecake cup too so I picked up one of those for $3 along with some redbeans & rice. Customer service: The order took way longer than expected. It took almost 30 minutes just to get it out the door.The cheesecake cup was still half frozen (which makes me think they were waiting until they thawed.) 3/5 Chickennuggets: Presentation - What you expect from Popeyes. Beautiful golden brown flaky breading. Just mouthwatering. 5/5 Taste- They obviously meant this to be dipped because that cajun seasoning is nowhere to be found. It doesn't even seem like theyseasoned it with the basic salt & pepper which is disappointing. The dips are nothing special. Popeyes seems to want to put aspin on normal dips & fail miserably. 3/5 Red beans & Rice: Presentation - Perfectly laid rice on top of the red beans.Probably the neatest I've ever seen it made. 4/5 Taste - Fantastic. That's all you need to know. 5/5 Cheesecake cup- Presentation - Frozen. Standard cheesecake look with the strawberry drizzle. 2/5 Taste: Low tier. Crumbly/powdery. Everythingis pretty subdued. Not too sweet, but underwhelming. 2/5 Overall this Popeyes is hit or miss. Some of it is not the fault ofthe restaurant itself since they aren't making the food from scratch.
