Reviews for Point & Feather in Chicago, IL
It was a cool place. We came here for a pit stop at my friends bachelor party. Weren’t being difficult, but the manager, I’m... assuming, made it pretty prevalent he didn’t want us in the establishment. Everybody else that was working was okay, and theylaughed about what we mention about the manager on site. We just left because we could spend money anywhere else. It’sunfortunate, but hopefully that gets better in the future for the workers. Read more
I went on the Friday lollapalooza was happening around 11pm and it was packed but there was still some room to hang out and... drink. I went with my friend to celebrate his birthday we ended up paying $20 each for cover fee I think woman were free. It wasa good place and atmosphere Read more
Drinks are okay, relatively standard from any bar in the area. The staff are good and easy to interact with; they know what they... are doing. The major issue here is that the bar is called “Point & Feather” yet the dart boards are not real dart boards(plastic, not sisal fiber), the pool tables need to be refelted, and the pool cues are extremely low quality. If you are cominghere to play pool, darts or watch sports this is not your bar. I would come here for drinks first, with the added bonus of lowquality darts / pool. Boss bar down the road may be a better use of your time if you are looking to play pool and enjoy thecamaraderie of river north. Read more
Cool place, though I'm not entirely sure what they're going for decor-wise... reminded me of that poacher's mansion from Ace... Ventura: When Nature Calls???? Drinks are solid (they make a good Paper Plane), bartenders are friendly, and it was cool to justplay darts with the wife and get loaded. It was a good time! Read more
Went to this place with some girlfriends on Valentines Day. The restaurant is wide open and has a lot of space for sitting and... lounging. The music isn’t too loud. We were seated immediately and our waitress was excellent. I ordered wings and fries aswell as a few beers- all happy hour prices since we were there before 7! Overall a great experience. I would definitely visitthis restaurant again. Read more
Popped into Point & Feather early saturday afternoon. It was very quiet. We sat at the bar. The Hibiscus purè and gin cocktail... was excellent. Also tried the hummus and the grilled shrimp. Both were tasty. However, the shrimp were very very spicy hot. Ourbar tender was fabulous. Very honest in his assessment of the foods. I would recommend Point & Feather for appetizers. We didn'ttry the entrees. Read more
I'm not sure what all the big fuzz is about this spot. This felt like a very average place. Their cocktails were primarily gin... based and I hated it. Maybe someone who loves gin might be able to give a better thoughts on their cocktails as such. Fish tacoswere pretty good. The bouncer seemed very judgemental/racist as he let a lotta people in without any reservations but initiallydid not let me in until I told him my friend who is at the bar inside is expecting me. Anyways, I don't think I'll go back hereagain (not cos of the bouncer incident tho) but cos of it's actual vibe and cocktails that my friends and I did not like much. Read more
We went there post to dinner. He had no trouble getting in it requires proper attire to enter. slightly upscale bar. Plenty of... seating space with darts and pool tables. Drinks are okay, not great but definitely overpriced. Everyone i observed, made facesafter their first sip. It wasnt busy but servers were rarely to be seen. Read more
