I hate to give bad reviews but I was so disappointed in this I have to. This was the most bland dry chicken shawarma I have ever... had. Actually I’ve never had a bad chicken shawarma so I didn’t even think it was possible. Not worth it! Read more

This is not Pita Heaven anymore, it's some horrible corporate concept kitchen thing with junk options from multiple venues. The... menu that represents the old Pita Heaven section is awful, not authentic anymore, not original, and way overpriced. It is NOTthe same. I also don't want a can of soda. They've completely redecorated and made it so generic and sterile. I will say the oneemployee I talked to was lovely, polite, and helpful. But ???? Read more

This place is now many different corporate fast food restaurants all in one. I got a chicken pita, and it was the worst I've... ever had. So many better places across Chicago. It had no taste to it whatsoever. Edible, but that was about it. I guess that'swhat you get when you don't specialize in one thing. Read more

The place was nice and clean, perfect spot for a meet and greet or just standard lunch date + the staff was very nice and... friendly also. We needed a little help placing our orders and they didn’t hesitate to assist us at all. I’m definitely goingback sometime next month Read more

I ordered a gyro wrap which was processed meat, cut real thin and nasty. They are currently under new ownership and no longer... offer the previous specials, their food is extremely nasty. Patrons was coming in asking for the Tuesday special to be toldthey no longer offer. They should be glad they did not waste their money like i did.. If you love real gyros go back to Greektown. Do not waste your money like I did. I spent $11.11 and want my money back will not be going back Read more

It’s literally a hit or miss. I’d recommend staying away from their panini. The last one I ordered lacked any cheese after... ordering a ham and cheese. They have specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’d opt with sticking with their gyros. I’d saycertainly not the best in the city. Read more

Overall: A surprisingly great find for the locale that it's in, the gyros at Pita Heaven definitely hits the spot!! The good:... The star of the show is the gyro, which was meaty, saucy, and delicious. The pita was soft but not overly so, so it held themeat well. They piled on the white nectar from the gods and served it with well-received crinkle cut fries. The service was veryfriendly when ordering, and the menu is also surprisingly large and varied. The not-so-good: There were 3 tables filled in thewhole place but our food still seemed to take awhile. A tad too pricey for what it is, $12 was too much. The presentation of thefood itself was pretty poor, especially for dining in. Gryo came out still in the wrapper and the fries in a cardboard carrier.Fine for to-go or at a stadium, not so much on a plate... Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8.5/10 Food: 8.5/10 Read more
