We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Peanut Park. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We found the food and drinks to... be pretty good, but not anything to write home about. I’m not sure if we could go back compared to other Italian options inthe area. Read more

They have just started serving brunch, so we showed up for their first service as we are neighborhood regulars. The Porchetta... sandwich is well seasoned and nicely complemented by their smashed potatoes (not pictured). The carbonara is very balanced andnot too salty which is a typical low point for this dish but would recommend an additional side for the hungry diner. Specialsto watch for on their instagram that makes us drop prior dinner plans: the lasagne is suprisingly light and very flavorful, thebasil pesto tagliatelle has a delightful elevating mint component, and surprise 10 dollar pizza happy hour motivates an earlywork exit. As a rule, I do not order pasta that I can make at home- the two above I cannot replicate. Regular menu items weorder again and again: chicken parm is typically on the crunchier side as we prefer, calamari always on point, and the chicoriessalad anchovy vinegrette has just the right amount of funk. The house made foccacia typically is a delightful appetizer, onaverage over many visits light and fluffy though in the early stages of opening we did have some denser slices. TLDR; goodflavor profiles, check their instagram for specials, give a bit of grace for new restaurant growing pains as their menu/servicehas only improved since opening. Read more

The staff, from reservations with Adam, which I had to change twice, was so accommodating. So friendly. Upon arrival, once again... so welcoming! Server, Lola, wonderful. The food... delicious! Homemade pasta, Bolognese awesome, crab pasta as well. Didn'ttry my friends rigatoni but it looked great. As an extra, was brought a complimentary pepper app. So good! Will be back eventhough we don't live too close. But go here, you'll love it! Read more

Quaint establishment, service was good & very friendly staff. Appetizer was delicious however my white fish was horrible.... Head/tail on, opened it up, 6 inches/maybe quarter of an inch thick filled with bones. No sides included for $36? I lefthungry:( I will say my family enjoyed their meals but definitely potion sized serving for one. All sides were extra. On apositive note, you have a wonderful staff. Read more

This place is awesome! From service to food quality they really hit all the stops. Had dinner here for a dare night. Host was... very welcoming as were the bartenders who offered up drinks as we waited for our table. Server was a little college girl whohonestly did better than some at places downtown. Food was delicious. Had a salad, a few pastas and the chicken parm. Definitelya recommend. Read more

I visited this place for the first time although I’ve been living in the area for awhile. Initial thought: The hostesses are... sweet and welcoming which is something I’ve not been seeing as much in the city. Their attitude really brightened my mood andmade me want to come in and dine. I seated myself at the bar but during busy times I’d recommend a reservation. The ambienceis really good. It is a local, modern trattoria, very similar to something you’d find in Rome in the contemporary areas. Thebar: Bartender was personable. Good recommendations. Good conversation. I started off with the Espresso Martini hold the IrishCream. It was sweet enough without the cream and the flavor had good balance with the vanilla vodka and espresso. It was robustand refreshing and I barely tasted the vodka. A dangerously well made drink. 8.5/10 For an appetizer, I got the braised octopusand I thought the star of the dish was delicious! The octopus was cooked well, presented well, and spiced well. However, I feltthat the tomato sauce seeped into the bed of focaccia bread and made the bread soggy. I’d prefer if the bread was toasted andcrispy on the side or omitted completely, but that’s just my opinion. 7/10. I got the pasta with mussels for entree. Themussels were delicious and the pasta was al dente. 8/10 I closed out the meal with the Homemade Tiramisu and I have to say. Itwas one of the most delicious tiramisus that I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It was light, portioned well, had amasterful balance of sweet and bitterness. 11/10. The Service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.Definitely will recommend to others. 4.5/5 leaning towards 5/5 experience! I recommend for date nights. Read more

Food was coursed out perfectly. Would recommend two people to share an app, pasta, and entree. Anything more would be too... filling. Service was great. The waitresses checked on us just enough times…like not too often where it’s annoying. Read more

The most notable upscale place in the area, Peanut Park has received very little traction as a result of the previous... establishment's reputation, the decision to open before the 2021 Christmas season, and it's very quiet opening. It's a shame, honestly; this is the best restaurant in the area in terms of raw aesthetic alone. This is definitely *the* place to plan avisit to Little Italy for, hands down. Bring a vaccination card and soak in the atmosphere. Read more
