We used to order from here quite often but over time the customer service and quality of food has declined. This was capped off... yesterday night. 1st our food which was supposed to be here in 29 minutes (per their email) took 72 minutes. Delivery comes andwe don't have the extra sauces we paid for nor the correct breadsticks and 1/2 the pizza was so overcooked it was burnt. Myhusband called to amend situation only to have manager literally hang up on him while he was asking a question. I calledindicating we did not want a credit at the store, we wanted our money back - the manager was so ridiculously rude, not listeningand just interrupting me. As I was still speaking she then hung up on me. I can sympathize that getting employees to worknowadays is very difficult but when the actual manager acts like this why would ANYONE in their right mind support thisbusiness. Worse customer service possible. Everyone there is rude. I have seen a lot of terrible customer service, but this is at the top.
The restaurant was clean and a great place to order take out or slices to eat in. I went 09/10/22 Friday night. The workers was... over worked with Uber doordash and other online order and still completed the task. I strongly think Uber and door dash andothers should help with employee when they overload the regular employee. Over a great experience. Read more
The guy who work at this location is very stingy!! I paid for garden veggies pizza which come with 7 veggies toppings, and I got... almost a plain cheese pizza with very few veggies. I ordered 3 large veggies garden pizza which comes with 7 veggies toppings!Although the store offered a coupon of 25% at the time I made the order, he did not accept it at the beginning and he asked meto switch for the 2 topping pizza to get the price of the 2 topping instead of applying the coupon that he should do. After Isaid this is the coupon and I will make the order online then, he applied it. I asked him to make sure to put good amount ofveggies as my order is garden pizza! He said that should be extra money. He gave me a bread with cheese and very few veggies,there is no even the total number of topping. I barely see veggies on the pizza! He is so stingy!!!! When you pay $70 for 3pizza and ordered a garden veggies one, you should get real pizza with veggies not cheese bread! Seriously the worst experiance.Very stingy. Does not worth the price. I love Papa John's and have been patronizing them for years! They now offer two slices of pizza and a twenty ounce beverage for... just five bucks! This is perfect for pizza lovers that only eat a few slices! I decided on the pepperoni pizza and grabbed anorange crush drink to wash it all down. So, here's my take: I'm rating this a three because it seems that somewhere along theline they've altered the recipe. The topping was great, but the sauce was too sweet. I'm definitely not a fan of sweet pizzasauce. I prefer a garlicky, aromatic flavor. I still ate it though (lol). I probably won't be ordering pizza from there everagain, but aside from the sweet pizza sauce this location is okay and I wouldn't totally oppose anyone from patronizing thisestablishment. Read more
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered my pizza without peppers, a pepsi zero and wings with blue cheese dipping sauce.... The pizza arrived 1:30 hours later with peppers, a diet pepsi (instead of the zero) and no wings. The delivery man came backwith the wings and a regular garlic sauce (yes the one they give with the pizza). When I called they didn't cared. I think it'sthe worst customer service. I had ordered garlic knots and all of them are uncooked or undercooked. This has happened three times now. You can literally see... the dough inside the knots. When I called the outlet (at 1151 West Taylor in Chicago) they told me its not possible and even ifit is they cannot do anything about it. Moreover he was least interested and arrogantly asked me to come to the outletmyself!!! I would suggest not to order from them, they have worse customer service and their quality has started to degrade... Read more
