I'm not going to lower a small business's rating, since I'm a Concrete Mason, and this city is built on small business. But I... went in today after work. Dirty as always.. and the two bartenders ignored me for 10 minutes and walked by me 7 times while theyserved people who weren't even sitting down at the bar. I'll never go here again. Not surprised blue collar people don't live inthe loop. I do and I'm moving out in April. Based on the way people treat people that build this city. Read more
I've been coming to this bar for literally decades. It was originally over on Clark Street and was Alcocks Bar, owned by Bernie... Alcock. His son Sean took over and moved it to it's present location on Wells St. Used to be a predominantly CBOT bar, but withthe closing of most of the trading floors it has a more eclectic mix of folks. Stop by and Jen and Sheila will take care of you.Jack O 'Niel is the new owner, taking over from long time owner Frank Matola. Still a good joint to grab some drinks. Read more
If I could give ZERO I would! Just stopped by from out of town. Poor customer service & the bartender was shorting us on our... shots we ordered then she was trying to add the total up in her head without ringing it up. We sit down & leave it alone thensee her give the left over shots to other guys because she didn?t poor us the whole shot. I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL! Read more
Best place for juicy fresh steaks in the city. The chef came out and personally thanked me for ordering mine ?as rare as he was... willing to serve it? and signed our tablecloth to me for my birthday. The tablecloths here are pretty thick so now mine isserving as a blackout curtain. I go to bed each evening and smile when I see his signature across from me, remembering the beststeak I?ve ever had. I need to get back here soon! Read more

Wouldn't recommend the shuttle. The staff and bartenders were really nice and the pizza their was great and convenient! But the... main reason we went was because they offer a bus to soldier field for the bears game. They decided to push the bus departuretime back 30 minutes which barely got us to the game before kickoff. They said they were going to leave at 5:45 but didn't leaveuntil after 6:15. They shouldn't charge $7 a ticket for something that doesn't even leave when they say it will. Was veryinconsiderate of their customers and they seemed to just care about using the bus for their friends and family since they waitedall that time just so their family could get on it. They should've given us our money back for not leaving when they said theywould and ruined our first bears game experience. Wouldn't do this again. If you care about getting to the game on time justUber or take a professional shuttle. Wish I could leave a better review since we did like the bar itself. Read more
