Terrible service and terrible food/drinks. First of all, they served me wine that was expired months ago. When I kindly asked... the bartender for a new glass, he said ?well you?re at a pub what do you expect???. How about you don?t offer wine on the menuin the first place? Anyways, I decided to go back today because it?s local to my apartment and I was wanting a beer. Theservers were incredibly rude to my boyfriend and I when we asked about tables and getting some water. The waitress with the redhair yelled at me for serving myself water when it was very unclear whether that was the patrons job or the server (many bars inChicago have a water station you go to yourself). She could have easily just been nice about it and could have told me she wouldserve me herself. There?s also garbage everywhere especially in the outdoor seating area (see photo?. Gross! Pick it up ifyou?re going to be rude to your patrons at least). This establishment is a joke and I would highly recommend not wasting yourmoney. Cool Irish bar downtown Chicago. While walking around downtown at night we found a high class speakeasy and were looking for... more moderately priced drinks and found olearys - "where the service varies" Loved the slogan so much my friend bought me theirshirt. Bouncers were nice, told them I was visiting from Florida and won't go full Florida man on them haha After I got theshirt and put it on, I let them know I could cover checking id's if they needed a break. Great customer service and atmosphere, loved popping in and grabbing a pint of local draft beer.
Nice selection of draft and bottled beers. Enjoyed a great Reuben. No need for the extra side of Thousand...they include a... sufficient amount on the sandwich. Good, hot fries too. Lunch service very good Read more
Poor service. Our waitress got 3/7 of our orders wrong, even though we were her only table. The lettuce was also slimy. The low... prices for Chicago food were not worth the experience. I will not be going back. Read more
Open late with outdoor seating. Food was typical bar bites and what you'd expect. Drinks are strong and well worth the money
Felix outdid himself, yet again! Today's special fresh from the Farmers' market: stuffed banana peppers. Everything here is so... fresh... and great service. For Lent, Felix made a seafood special every Friday. This one is homemade ravioli stuffed withcheese and herbs in a lobster sauce. Read more
