We had 6 people for dinner for a birthday. The service was extremely slow and my drink (a Manhattan) was made very poorly. The... Caesar salad was okay but the bread was very undercooked to the point that some at our table wouldn’t eat it and we mostlypicked off the cooked parts. Our waiter told us that’s the way they make it. We then waited for another 45 minutes for ourfood after being there for 45 already. Most of our table’s food was okay but my meal (carbonara) was extremely undercooked andI decided to stop eating after I had a crunchy piece of spaghetti. At this point our waiter had also disappeared (since about 30minutes before our food arrived). I waived down another server and he happily took my meal back and asked if I wanted another.The new waiter, Sam, was very pleasant and attendant and ultimately saved our experience. He comped my meal and gave us a freedesert (which was very yummy). Overall great service from Sam but the food and drinks were very poor. Read more
The chicken tastes like dirt and the Alfredo tastes like flavorless cream. Nothing is seasoned at all. Absolutely flavorless.... The caprese is not fresh. Im extremely upset that I just wasted $50 for food that I will have to throw away because it’s notedible. Not even the dinner roles are edible. How is this place in business? Was out walking around Chicago with family and looking for an authentic old school Italian restaurant and ended up here .... You'll notice a lot of Italian restaurants in little Italy are not open for lunch..Oggi was the right choice for us. Atmosphere: 5/5 cozy warm, Sinatra playing on speakers and host was very warm and friendly. Linen cloth covered tables ..interior had venice back wall and interesting art against the walls. Chicken Parmesan: 5/5.. I have to admit I am biasedbecause I grew up in Chicago and eating chicken parmesan sandwich was a thing for me. Italian Bread is from Bari food next doorand chicken seasoned to perfection...love love Soup of the day: 5/5 spinach tortellini soup. Made fresh to order. First timetrying this very clean broth and tortellini was fresh made. Kudos! Salad: Fresh balanced vinegar, oil and Parmesan. dressingwas served already mixed into the salad. Daughter and I loved it but my mom thought it was too salty..opt for side dressing ifyou want to control. Pizza : 4/5 Margherita used fresh ingredients but was a bit heavy on the mozzarella. Would have liked morered sauce to offset the cheesiness. But did get my teenager approval. Read more
We placed an order For delivery on their website. 40 mins later I called and they “didn’t see our order”. 40 minutes later... they delivered Super hot food. It was cooked food that was microwaved extremely. So much that the lid on the calamari red saucewas melted! Over done calamari, baked clams that had SO much oil. Nasty! Our pasta was just ok. But again microwaved. The bestpart we’re their rolls that were cold and an extra they threw in. $105.00!! Read more
Stumbled across this place on accident for a date night a was blown away. The scene is perfect for a date and the... server/bartender Issac was awesome and made some great drinks. Food was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back. Read more
This place has got to be falling off because they served over cooked calamari under seasoned chicken sandwich’s the lettuce... was beyond brown and pesto spaghetti no flavor. So I called manager Isaac his reply was we never received a call like this in30 years and we served 300 people no complaints he didn’t resolve anything. thanks this was our Mother’s Day dinner Read more
Fantastic bread rolls! So warm buttery and soft! We had pasta with some chicken which was delicious! We also had the different... desserts at the end. Best cannolis I've ever had. The chocolate dessert was great too, super rich! But the cannolis wereimpeccable. Read more
