This place use to be great but now I just got the worst chicken & broccoli, pepper beef & shrimp egg foo young. The chicke had... this horrible globs of thick gluttonous corn starch all over it like it was precooked and sitting in this gel waiting to beused, the beef also had thick gluttonous gravy only slightly better than the chkn. The fried rice was dry w/dried chicken & toomuch soy. Egg rolls were pretty good & the only freshly cooked item shrimp egg foo young was good. I will not be coming back. Read more

I came across this place several years ago and have been coming ever since. This is a great take out spot with great value. Most... recently I feel like food has improved — what a great surprise. Again, this is east coast style no frills Chinese takeout,which is an increasingly rare style for Chicago. A hidden gem, but don’t expect presentation, because that’s not what thisstyle is about. Okay… so a couple years ago they were not to bad. $7 for a big portion of Mongolian beef and shrimp fried rice is pretty good... not gonna lie. But now they not good. Although thank you for your response. I changed my review to a 4 because you guys gotunder new management. The old management was terrible at the end just terrible. Read more

I have ordered from you many times in the past. But something has gone terribly wrong the last couple of times. Yesterday I... ordered a large egg foo young and it had no seasoning. The gravy was horrible. And I’ve never had this kind of service herebefore. I ordered a Xtra large Jumbo Shrimp Fried rice with extra green onions. I’ve ordered the same items for years. Butthis time there was no green onions, the rice had clumps of rice in it with a few Jumbo shrimp at the top and a few regularshrimp in the bottom! The shrimp tasted gummy. I don’t want a free meal.
