If you're in the area it's a must stop for great pizza and sandwiches. This place is a frequent spot for those in the area so... if you're in a hurry order ahead because there's a bit of a wait (I promise it's worth it). Just go order something differenteach time and you'll be happy. Read more
This has become my new favorite hidden spot in Chicago. The meatball subs and the pizza (both types of pizza) are superb.... Chicken parm sub is great. Everything we've had has been phenomenal. The delivery is quick and fresh. So glad to have foundNonna's. Definitely recommend. Read more
Just a good tasting sandwich! Did ordered many times but went to pick up first time. Had. Eggplant and chicken Parmesan sandwich... it’s best explained as pizza sub with fried chicken sandwich and lots of cheese and marinara sauce. Read more

Their chicken parmigiana sandwich is amazingly delicious, the bread is fresh, it’s cheesy, wet enough to not be soggy and the... tomato sauce is delicious!!! The service is very friendly and they prepared my sandwich very fast although they had many fooddelivery orders at the same time! They also have NY style pizza slices, which I’m gonna hopefully try next time I visit! Read more
Formento’s is a great restaurant. I gave them 5 stars in a review years ago, and that rating hasn’t changed. Today was the... first time I visited Formento’s take-out nook, Nonna’s. I ordered the chicken parm sub, and was completely underwhelmed(especially for the price of $14 pretax). The bread was dry and borderline stale. The chicken cutlet itself could not bedescribed as flavorful or juicy, but was definitely a large portion. Maybe a little more marinara. Would have been nice to begiven the option of giardinara, because peppers may have saved the sandwich. I may or may not go again to try the meatball sub,and then I may or may not change my rating. I mean….if JP Graziano started slinging hot sandwiches, I will probably never goback to nonnas. Read more
We ordered a NY pepperoni pie and it was amazing. Some friends and myself shared it. This thing is huge (be prepared to eat),... and the price was solid for a takeout pizza (30$). The slices were very cheesy, and the truffle oil was a great addition. Willdefinitely be visiting again for friends and movie nights. The only thing missing was a side of red pepper or parmesan to giveit that true NY feel. Read more
