Expensive food is not worth for the price that was paid.I rather go to ba le for my sandwiches which is cheaper and better... baguette. Hon kee for their roasted pork which is 8.98lb vs nhu lan 18.95 for their roasted pork lol way too expensive?Chinatownthey specialize in Hong Kong bbq and most bbq place in Chinatown only charge at most 9.95 lb and it taste way better.. Ok first let me state I been eating Vietnamese food since the 80s so I do know a bit of this food by now. I must say the bread... was fantastic the bbq pork was a bit dry and not enough for 10.00 dollars. I asked for the sauce with peanut she claim shedidn?t have any so it was a bit dry. Overall a bit pricey for a sandwich at 11.00 but there is a solution I noticed they sellthe bbq pork by portion for 13.00 will buy that next time with the bread and create my own. Read more

obviously there's lots of great food in this neighborhood, honestly there's a lot of great Vietnamese food within a couple... blocks of here. but Nhu Lan? Nhu Lan has the best banh mi in the city of Chicago, hands down. their bread is always on point, their tofu sandwiches are totally killer, the ingredients are fresh and the price is nigh unbeatable. 11/10, been coming herefor literally decades. I truly enjoyed this place. A friend of mine and I stopped in here Sunday afternoon to get some goodies. The sandwich I had was... outstanding! And then we got these spring rolls that had to been at least a foot and a half long each. Maybe 12 in Long. Butthey were outstanding! Just wonderful! Read more

I ordered through Uber eats and I was so satisfied with my order. They gave really generous servings at a reasonable price and... the dished were also very delicious. Even the sauce were generous and the toppings for the soup too. They had the biggest Springrolls I ever ordered so far for only $5+. Superb food!!! Read more

The best place for Banh Mi sandwiches in Chicago apparently. The bread which was daily and house made was buttery, light, flaky,... and crispy which I could have it alone without any fillings. They also sold other popular Vietnamese food like Pho or rice orsweet desserts here, but only the Banh Mi sandwiches were outstanding. Read more
