Came in here for the momos and was surprisingly delighted. Even better than the ones you can get on roadside in India. Their... chicken biryani is now my new favorite biryani on Devon, flavorful and yet not too spicy. I tasted their chicken Tikka Masalaand that was great as well. I’m so happy that Nepal House is every bit as good as its sister restaurant in the south Loop, Chicago Curry House! It appears... both have the same menu and the food here is just as delicious as CCH. Loved the Chicken Saag, Aloo Gohbi and garlic naan. Hugeportions and plenty to take home for leftovers! I ordered Vegetable fried Momos and they were not at all good. I had high expectations from Momos. The filling was not proper... and the chutney seemed like it was made out of daal. It was not appropriate and I was disappointed. Not at all worth $13.95 +tax?? Read more
Dined there for lunch with a friend who wanted Momos, Thursday-March 3rd. Small corner restaurant which seemed to do a lot of... take out. Clean with white table cloths. Small bar. The female who took our order was patient and attentive. We ordered too muchbut were pleasantly surprised. Fried chili chicken Momos, which were fried a bit too long (should have done steamed), but in areally tasty chili sauce.The Chicken Madras that was good, a garlic naan and the combo vegetable platter. The Samosas, vegetable& cheese Pakoras and onion Bhaji were really good, but the Mirchi Pakora were too hot/spicy for us. Overall, food was great. Weprobably could have done without the combo veg platter but we like to try things. Will go back again. Read more

I had dinner with my family, wife and two kids. We ordered 1) chicken curry, 2) janeko daal and 3) lamb biryani. All dishes... although not marked as spicy, they were. However the flavors were EXCELLENT. I WOULD DEFINITIVELY return. Our 9 year old atebthe chicken curry just fine. The 3 year old boy no so much but did try the biryani. I very much recommend this restaurant. Read more
