Use to be great. I understand that you have a lot of people coming in, but if I ask for an item NOT to be on my sandwich,... there's a reason. On two different occasions they have just given me what they want and though I live in close, the hassle ofreturning is pointless. I come here ever so often? Placed and received my order which would have been fine. Until I got home. Upon opening our bag and... starting to eat the food. We found a rolled piece of bloody rubber. Maybe from a glove. Idk it was disgusting. We called, bestthey could say was well it wasnt from the person who made the sandwich. Unacceptable. I went to the Mr.Sub on 84th and Pulaski in Chicago and I had such good service from Danielle. She was very nice! She told us... about 2 new items that the store had and gave us a sample for our wait( which was not long at all) rice pudding and seafoodsalad.The food was very good too!!! After trying all of the submarine sandwich businesses that advertise on television, Mr. Submarine serves a better product. ... While the others serve paper thin meat and load up on lettuce, Mr Submarine doesn't. The meat is the star of the sandwich, notall of the lettuce onions and so on that dominates from other establishments. The BLT from Mr Submarine is totally better thanJimmy John's and subway. I didn?t get a chance to take a pict of my sandwich but the photo would do no justice to describe the taste. The club sandwich... on wheat was absolutely excellent and just as I remember growing up, it brought back so many memories of growing up here inChicago and it was also something new to the menu. Thus was once a great place purchase a great sub, now, I am not so sure. I had not been there in some time and was nostalgic... for the taste I remembered. After a long wait, they had no recollection of my order. I had to order again, at the window. Ithink they rushed my sub. They made it wrong, and, although it was okay, I have no desire to eat there again. Read more
